Remember the Titleist Eclipse?

I was thinking back about trying different balls as I've struggled with, but enjoyed, my game. The first ball that jumped out at me as a ball that worked well for me (gosh..a couple decades ago) was the Titleist Eclipse. Anybody else remember that one? It performed very well for me as I hacked my way around many courses years ago.

Oh, and happy new year to my fellow golfers here...

Custom fit RBZ irons. Taylormade RBZ driver. Some crappy old high-bounce Macgregor wedge and an even older Mizuno 5 wood. Haven't settled on a ball yet - still looking. Decades of football, weightlifting and boxing came together to create the world's worst golfer. I'm slowly correcting that now.

If I remember correctly it was Titleist's first try at a dual core ball (like Prov1x core). Surlyn cover however. Came out maybe in the early or mid '90's.
