How is the PGA Tour driving stat measured?

Quick question; tried searching online first.

So its measured on 2 different holes that face different directions to counter wind right? Do they always make sure to pick holes where they think a big majority of players will use the driver?

Yes.

It's right at the bottom of the stat, and yes, they choose holes where players hit the driver the vast, vast majority of the time.
