So I built a 23 degree hybrid because I was getting the same distance from my 4 iron as I was the 5 iron so I replaced the iron with the hybrid. I used the True Temper TX-90 shaft in the hybrid, but I guess the head is very light because it came out at a swingweight of C6. My irons have a swingweight of D8, and I like them at that weight even though most people probably think it's too high. Anyway, I need to increase the swingweight of the hybrid, so I was thinking of pulling the shaft, adding a 10 gram weight and then putting the shaft back in. I think this would raise it up to about D1 which should be in line with my other hybrid. Does that sound like the right amount of weight to add to get the desired swingweight?

I was looking over your clubs in your bag and I was wondering if you get tired swinging such heavy clubs. I understand how heavy clubs feel good and solid at the bottom but I have to think you should talk to one of the club makers in denver and see if you might be better off by not having such wide differences in swing weight's throughout your clubs. Such heavy irons could make you really quick with your driver, 3 wood etc. It's hard enough to play this game with one swing tempo much less 2 or 3. Most certified club makers will recomend swing weights based on your measured club head speed of your driver and your 5 iron, just a thought....bwgolfer
