were you born that patronising or did you work on it!

i said that the answer is pretty much going to be 3 wood or driver and to suggest anything else is plain stupid! of course the occasional player will hit an iron but the answer is still pretty much 3 wood or driver

thank you previous poster for explaining to me how AVERAGE is calculated - seriously!!!!

You are the one who said this " to suggest anything else is plain stupid!" and I'm patronising???

I would be willing to bet, for a high handicapper, lets say over 24, that its an iron, not a wood. The lower the handicap, the more consistant you are with the bigger sticks, the higher your average will be with them. Now as a 16, its my driver, but when i was a 24, it was probably my 6 iron, hit it consistantly and about 155. I coul dhit my driver back then 200, but no way i averaged 200 when you figure in the slice, pop ups and toppings. So, is this where you call me stupid again sunshine???
Driver: 454 big bertha driver
Woods: warbird 5 wood and 7 wood (probably replace this year)
Hybrid 19 degree rescue mid wood (probably replace this year)
Irons: x-16 2 degrees flat 4-9 iron
Wedges: 60 degree volkey, eye2 sandwedge (old club but never found its equal), x-16 50 degree gap and 46...
