I see on the spec sheet that Callaway is not offering the C-Grind on the 64-degree lofted wedge. I have a Feel Golf 64 that has a sole grind similar to the C-Grind that I absolutely love. I wonder why Callaway is not offering this club.

That is a good question. It's not like the 60 has a really low bounce already so it would make sense to offer the c-grind option.

My experience is that the C-Grind offers the best of both worlds, it can have a low bounce so you can open it up and a little leading edge relief so it doesn't dig in.

I can full-swing my Feel-64 or flop it.

The reason I am interesting in the Callaway is to have a forged 64 with MD grooves. The Feel has a smooth (almost slippery) face and shallow grooves. It seems to rely on trajectory for stopping power. Spin AND trajectory would be great. I've got a Vokey 60/4, but it digs in too easily and I hit it inconsistently.

I just saw on the Cleveland website that they are going to offer a 64-deg with their Dynamic Sole Grind (DSG). I might have to check it out.

Just bought a 52, 56 and 60 degree X-Forged

56 + 60 are MD

They are fantastic clubs.

The only problem is that even on the links course I play with half a
52 degree (not MD) I'm getting 8 feet back spin.

If you normally are past the pin I'd advise that these clubs are great for your type of play.

If you normally are short of the pin, forget it, it may look good spinning back but isn't the idea of the game to get as close to the hole as possible.
