COBRA X Speed pro and TM BURNER

Hi there,

I just got my Cobra Carbon CB's (they're awsome) and now I'm looking for a new #3 fairway wood...
I'm having doubts choosing between the TM Burner 15° (TP or not, don't know) and the Cobra X Speed Pro 15° ... Any advice? Cause didnt find the X speed in the golf digest hot list and I wonder if anyone has any experience with it, because the Cobra's aren't available in my local golf store so can't try them before I make my order at TGW.

Hey William,

I got a TaylorMade Burner 3-Wood (non-TP version) for Christmas and I really like it. I only started playing golf in may last year and even a beginner like me can (occasionally ) have some good shots with it.
I never tried the COBRA so I can't really compare them.

Thanks. En ook van Antwerpen zie ik waar speel je? Heb me juist lid gemaakt op 3 Eycken gisteren. Dus Burner is een aanrader? Translation because of the English only rules :p : I just asked him where he plays as he lives in Antwerp (Belgium) just like me.

I play at the A.G.S (Antwerp Golf School) in Aartselaar. It's a small golf school with only 6 holes and also a putting green, a chipping green, a practice bunker and a driving range.
I never been at the Drie Eycken before but a friend of mine is a member there too and he really likes it there. I'm going to join our club competition and I hope I can reduce my handicap to 36 or lower this year so I can finally enjoy the "big" courses

      Day 4, 1/2/26.  Played 18 today;  didn't get a chance to warm up (had I known the range was closed, I'd have hit balls at home first).  Played okay, 92 with three balls in the water.  It was raining for more than half the round and I didn't quite appreciate before today just how much I benefit from roll on both drives and approach shots.  I did not adapt well to this change until about hole 15, which is something I have to figure out.

      Day 143 1-2 Arch wrist in downswing. Having a SLIGHT cup in the lead wrist at the top now. Only paused swings with some rehearsals before swinging at ball.  Used foam ball.

      Day 459 - 2026-01-02 Had two guys on GEARS Hybrid, so I hopped on afterward (I'm going to do this a lot more often now). So… I've signed myself up for another month of backswing work in two ways: A little more extension of the trail elbow (got into the upper 90s) Less pelvis turn (low 50s).
