Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me.  I have a set of Callaway Diablo forged irons with NS Pros 1100 GH shafts. I’ve had them for a while and I like how they sit and how the ball feels off the club head.

I would like to replace the shafts with True Temper XP95 R300s. My question is: Will my heads match the XP 95 shaft?

Regards,

Brian, Australia.

I am not a shaft expert by any means as some on the site are but I would say you need to bring the clubs to a good club fitter to find out. If you are planning on doing it yourself I would contact the shaft manufacturer and ask, they should probably know. Why do you want to replace the shafts and how do you know this particular shaft is right for the clubs and for you?

Gday cooke119. I wont be doing the shafts, I've got a mate that's doing it for me. Reason for the change is that I went to a Callaway demo day to be fitted with some Apex irons. The club fitted told me my present shafts are too stiff, plus they were 3/4 too short. I've done a bit of research into shafts and these suit my swing.
