as the heading indicates,my query is which is the higher trajectory between different hinges?...i saw a video recently whereby presenter stated the full roll feel (horizontal hinge) is higher than half roll (angle hinge)....I dont believe that is right,i believe the opposite is true, when im practicing ,i find angular is higher, but ,i could be doing something wrong, can ,thank you in advance

What kind of hinge are you talking about. Could you find some photos or a video that outlines what you are describing? If you could link the video you're talking about it would be easier to see what you're referring to.

Lots of things hinge during the golf swing, depending on the portion of the swing you're at and your level of flexibility. Wrists, elbows, waist, trouser snake, shoulders, knees.

I suggest you move off TGM and move onto things that have been updated in the last 30 years.

Hinging has essentially no effect on ball flight as you aren’t “hinging” during the impact interval.

Doesn’t matter. A lot of TGM concepts are “feels” or don’t really work like they were thought to.

:sigh:

There's no "agree to disagree." The ball only knows what's presented to it at impact. The impact interval is about 400ms - not enough time for anything to really "change" during with the club during impact. If the ball is hit with the same exact conditions, whether the clubface is experiencing "angled" or "horizontal" or even vertical hinging is irrelevant.

Homer was ahead of his time… but that time came and went. For goodness sake… he died 35 years ago. Time has passed. We know things now.

If "Angled Hinging" "works" for you it's because when you do it, you present a different condition to the ball than you do when you "try" "horizontal hinging."

Always useful to be reminded that the face hitting the ball is one the 'more important' parts of the golf swing 😄
