Fairway Wood Fitting

I just thought about something that kind of made me curious. When you get fitted for a fairway wood, is it all done off the deck or do you hit balls off the tee as well. I know that I hit my 13* wood off the tee more than I do off the deck.

You'd probably tell this to whoever is fitting you. I would be surprised if there isn't a means of fitting you that involves a combination of the two, or a focus on whichever you do more.
