Phil Rogers, winner of five PGA Tour events and a sought-after teacher of the short game, died Tuesday.

Thanks for the articles.  Phil was one of a very few Americans who played the Open in the early 60's, and he had great success there with three top 4's in 5 years, including tying for the lead after 72 holes and losing the playoff in 1963.
