I’d appreciate an opinion on this. I’ve got a set of black Ping woods that I love. Are there any balls made that give you good distance with wood or all balls now made for metal? Thanks,Kevin

Hit whatever you have.  They will work.  I play my old wooden woods sometimes and usually grab a bunch of Nike Mojo's.  They work pretty good.

Driver: :callaway: Diablo
Woods: :callaway: Big Bertha 2 & 4
Irons: Miura MC 102's 3 - PW & Mizuno MP 67's 3 - W
Wedges: :mizuno: MP-R12 52* & 58*
Putters: :ping: WRX Ti4

 I have a set of the old PING woods as well. I have used Titleist DT SoLo's, Wilson Duos, and Callaway Supersofts, but actually ProV1s work just fine. Many of the modern balls currently in use are actually softer than the balls we used in the heyday of wooden clubs.
