center shafted putters

do they make a difference because i am going to buy a 2 ball and want to know what shaft tyoe i should get center or normal

I think that they do, well at least for me. I love having the shaft meet the head right where I want to contact the ball as it helps me with a constant impact target but also what I consider superb feel.

I have played a center shafted putter since my second season, and it was wonderful moving from a heel shafted putter to a center shafted version. I currently play the Rossa Monza from TaylorMade and love it. I will be trying the Yes Natalie this before this year starts, as I have heard great things about it.

It's all personal preference man. I use to have a center shafted white hot, not the 2 ball version though. It was a good putter but I couldn't line it up as well as I wanted. The greens at my old home course were slow too, so using a blade was a bad idea. But like I said, it's all personal. To each his own. Try one out and see what you think.

I absolutely love mine... it really fits my eye. I would get whatever looks best to you, both will function fine. I'm not sure if the feel is any better as I didn't look at the non-center shafted version because it didn't look as good to me.

i like center shafted putters (although i don't have one) because it makes me feel like i am actually swinging the club. unfortunatly, most center-shafted putters also have large, alien looking apparatuses attached too them (which i dislike very much). so i can't really find a putter i love

I bought a centre shaft putter 2 years ago and never putted so well. Don't know if it is because of the centre shaft or the putter itself (SC Red X2) or a combination of both.

I like the way it is set up.

I use a Natalie "YES" center shaft and i love it!! Grew up being a framing and trim carpenter and just like straight line feel and alignment. Much easier for me to hit on a good line.

another hearty vote for the Yes "Natalie" center shafted putter!

The feel is soft and the semi circular grooves on the face seem to really start the ball rolling sooner rather than "jumping" off the face.

I frequently battle alignment issues and the large T shape formed by the center bar helps a lot with alignment. Underneath the center bar is a hollow groove that provides a good place to modify the head weight with tape if needed.

I always experiment with new putters but keep coming back to this solid putter.
