Considering golf is a GAME of skill, I dont really care where they think it ranks as a SPORT, since you know...it isnt one.

I cant really speak for how the golfing is in Alaska - AK, but the golfing here in Arkansas - AR, is pretty good. Improving all the time. Id love to put in a 18 hole public course here locally as there just arent alot of options here, but once you get down toward Little Rock or toward Fayetteville alot more options are available.

Best putt Ive ever made was on the third hole of the old 9 hole course that used to be by my house. It was from probly 30ish feet away, downhill and had a pretty nasty break to it. I made a confident stroke and sank that baby. I dont remember if it was for par or what, but I should mention...I was 10 years old at the time. I dont know whether its good or bad that the best putt Ive ever made was done at the age of 10...

I live in Jonesboro and mostly play at Rolling Hills in Pocahontas or Fox Hills in Paragould. Aside from Sage Meadows here in town, and the course in Brookland, there arent alot of public/semi private options around here.

Im not sure how to respond under, but itd be under d. I guess. My bag has 14 slots, so each club has its own specific slot. I do tend to get a bit edgy when someone puts one back in the wrong slot. I dont go nuts, but I will get a little mad the next time I look for that club and its not in the right place.

I personally am using an 11.5* at the current moment, but I got the club after resuming playing more golf after a couple years off and wasnt hitting the ball very good off the tee. I got it to help me get the ball up a bit more but have sacrificed some distance also. Now that Im swinging better, Im going to switch out to a 10.5 again pretty soon.

I personally dont carry a 3wd. I was never a consistent player with a 3 wood, and decided to try out a 1 hybrid (14*) and it has taken over the slot in my bag no questions asked. I hit it as far or farther than the 3 wood and have much better consistency with it. I personally dont see the benefit of a 3 wood if you dont hit it well, as you can do anything with the hybrid that you can with the 3 wood.

Thats funny as Im the same way. I wear my sunglasses the whole time, but I have to let the head vent a little every once in a while. Ive got Oakley Crosshairs in Pewter/Black.

Dang it, I was going to suggest putting "CALM THE F*** DOWN" inside the brim. Sounds like you did pretty well. If you're in the top 3 Id think its a lock outta 15. Is there a set number that get chosen or open slots available?

Driver - $150 Hybrids - $210 Irons - $200 Wedges - $160 Putter - $120 Bag - $100 Total - $940. Though Im about to add a new Nike SQ Sumo2 and perhaps some different irons to the mix to up it some.

Id say my average is probly 225ish or so. If i could solve my slice issue, itd be closer to 250.

Another Daly fan here, wishing him the best, but its not looking pretty. I think the Champions tour is his best shot in what, 9 years. If he hasnt had a heart attack and/or doesnt weight 300+lbs. Its weird to think about how great he couldve been with just a little more self control.
