Hey, I was just curious, I don't know my exact swing speed, but the ball speed coming off my driver is between 135 and 138 mph. Can anyone tell me my swing speed?

So I've decided to get the Nike SQ Sumo. I hit both that and the TM r7 460 and I seemed to hit the nike a little better. I can get a new one for $300, and a used one for $150. I could pay $300 for a new one, but that would pretty much make me broke, or I could get the used one for $150 and still have left over money. Is buying a used driver a lot worse then buying a new one? Thanks

Wow, I tried hitting the sumo 2 at my local golfsmith. The room where you hit it is inclosed, with only a small opening, so sound echo's like crazy. I hit 3 balls with the smo 2, and my ears are ringing

I'm planning on playing for my high school's golf team next year. I have been a basketball player my whole life, and now that it seems like I have a chance to play division 1 basketball, I don't enjoy it anymore. I'm looking forward to playing next year

I'm thinking of maybe getting a 54.10* for a fairway wedge and longer bunker shots, and maybe a 58.12* for sand shots. Would a 58.12* not work in deep rough shots though?

So I'm getting new vokey spin-milled wedges. I have noticed people have a 56.14 to use as a sand wedge/wedge to use in the rough, and the 60.04 to use on approach shots on the fairway. From previous experience, I hit a 56 real well from the fairway, so I'm thinking about getting a 56.10 to hit from the fairway and a 60.08 to use as my SW/wedge in the rough. There probably isn't, but from seeing how many people have the opposite in their bag, is there a problem with this?

I shot a 41 today on a par 3 course. Soooooo disapointing, I've been playing a lot lately, and I'm just at the point where I can now almost beat my dad. I was up by 4 shots after 5 holes, and I thought today was finally the day. He gained a shot on me on 6 and 7. Then, on 8 I shot one OB, and just like that it was tied heading into the last hole. The 9th hole has water right behind and on the left of the green. I always beat him on this hole, as he always hits on in the water, so I was still confident. He went first, and stuck it about 5 feet from the hole. I was in awe, but still knew I could easily at least tie him. I take my shot, and its decent, maybe 10-12 feet away, and on the fringe. I was telling myself to be aggressive, and not to get too conservative, and ended up putting it past the hole by about 6 feet. Anyways, to make a long story short, my dad 2-putted to make par, and I missed my 6 footer. I was so angry, and couldn't believe I blew it. I threw my putter, and later when I was asked why I did, my response was, "So I wouldn't hit anybody with it." This was after I had calmed down, and was in a joking mood. Sorry for the long story, just needed to vent somehow. My dad and I are playing 18 tomorrow, and I will report what happens.

So I went out and hit all 3 of them at the range. Wasnt a huge fan of the callaway, but man, the nike SQ sumo and TM r7 460 are sooo close. Im hoping to think about it some more, and pull the trigger soon. I am up in the air on this one, both felt sooo nice

Ya, definately the gym helps. I started working out again about a month ago, and I have seen my driving averege go up from about 235--->250 in just a month.

Don't try and take a long swing and slow it down. For me (I have no idea if it is correct), I always swing hard, but I will just barely bring the club back if its a short chip.

I have a TM v-steel 5 wood. I want to get it as a 3 wood too, thats how much I like it
