  1. Hit a 80ft. breaking putt uphill for birdie #1 on the day, then two holes later hit a 54˚ wedge to 4 ft. Good day shooting 81.
  2. Had surgery today on his left knee. Contained in here . Done now since Tigerslam is out of question?
  3. Driver: 250-285 (depends on shot shape) 3W: 220-250 3i: 200-210 4i: 190-200 5i: 175-190 6i: 160-175 7i: 145-160 8i: 130-145 9i: 115-130 PW: 100-115 50˚: 85-100 54˚: 70-85 60˚: 50-70 (not used much on full shots) I've got a big distance gap due to ability of hitting a baby fade or taking a little off or adding more on each shot.
  4. I say he sticks around for about 6-9 months, just like Zach Johnson.
  5. Those tear up your ball SO FAST.
  6. Sweet. Will be using this since my brother has commodeered our HDTV...
  7. I wouldn't call my routine having a "practice swing", but it has the elements. My main issues have been through the hitting area. So... For drivers, I will look and pick my target from behind, and then walk to up to my ball. I get about 6-9" away from it and sort of go 8-4 with it, ensuring that my body and clubface match. From there, I move forward and swing. For irons, I pick my target and take a chip-like swing making sure that I hit the grass at the bottom of my swing. Then I come to the ball and do my 8-4 swing and hit. Works pretty well for me. Keeps me in tempo and in the right positions.
  8. Had three really good shots this round, and this week. 1) Approach shot on par 5 to 6 ft, birdie. 2) 25 ft birdie putt on par 3 3) 30 ft par save on the very next hole.
  9. Shot 44-40 for my first full round back. Played with Darrell Green, who played with the Redskins a couple years back. Never thought I'd see him on my Muni! But to my round, terribly inconsistant with wedges. Irons and driver were working at about 80%. Putting would get hot and cold constantly. Made a 25ft birdie on 12 and a 30ft par save on 13. Birdied 9 after an approach shot to 6 feet. Greens were terribly aerated as well. It was a good day...
  10. He was sick this week. He played through it Thurs. and Friday.
  11. I want to try that...
  12. Great clubs, hit them at a golf show... harder then my Mizzy's...
  13. Very smooth looking irons... would love to hit those.
  14. For me, I like a thin topline and a compact profile. I am a 8-handicap and therefore can hit blades. That's why I use them.
  15. I'm going to a course like that Monday... except tee-to-green is about 250 :) *no worries for me*
  16. Take a look into the Adams Idea combo sets... I've heard great things about them for beginners.
  17. Can't believe you got AP2's over MP67's...
  18. Anything between 75-145. Should be solid and close (0-20 ft).
  19. Shot a pretty brilliant 38 today after school. It was a quick 1.5 hr round. Hit 6/7 fairways and 6/9 greens. Had 14 putts and hit great irons.
  20. Pic? Easier to identify that way.
  21. Shot a crappy 44 with consistent 25mph+ winds blowing in every which direction. And you can't play my course like St. Andrews... 14 putts was nice and my short game was lights out.
  22. I see the same things as the above poster mentioned, but it also looks like you are casting the club through impact. What is your typical miss?
  23. From looking at the down the line, it seems that the golf ball is turning (slicing) to the right. Is that your normal miss?
  24. Sad... sad... sad... I haven't made a number that big since I started playing...
