  1. I was looking at some golf pride Tour Wrap Cord. Any experience with these?
  2. Getting a titleist 906.F2 15* 3 wood off ebay, but the only problem is, it is fitted with a DGR300. Although it is only $100 AU, which is very cheap even just for the head alone. I was thinking of getting this, and replacing the shaft with one of my choice. I like my prolaunch and just thinking if anyone has any idea of what shaft I could put in it. I swing around 98-105MPH with my driver, with a smooth tempo and a slight pause at the top of the swing.
  3. Ok, I am getting my whole set regripped, from Driver to LW. I am thinking of getting cords, mainly because I prefer the feel and they are generally a harder type grip. I am thinking about one of these: - Golf pride MultiCompound - Golf pride Full Cord - Lamkin Full cord. Just wondering if anyone has experience with these, or any other grips. Thanks
  4. I would say just go back to your old swing and see if it is a lot better than your new one. If it feels better and produces more consistent results, just stick with the old. If not, take another lesson and keep practicing.
  5. Well used to have a 907.D1 with the Aldila Crap Grid shaft, 10.5. But just changed to a 905R with a Graffaloy Prolaunch Blue, 9.5, which is a lot better, in terms of control, feel and distance.
  6. Thanks I always thought I did that. More please?
  7. Would you be able to give me a description of how you regrip your clubs and what is needed, and also do you buy them off ebay?
  8. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=k7V1xV5Wms4 Constructive criticism would be good. Thanks! (Watch all of the video it changes to a behind view after a while.
  9. I have gone through a D1 and now into a 905R, bought new 695.CB irons, a new bag, and changed from NXT tours to pro-v1/xs.
  10. Yes 907Golfer you were right in the first place, and I am not argueing with anyone just trying to help Dent.
  11. You have the club set to a fade. So you must be doing a slight draw swing, or the club is internally set to draw biased which cannot be fixed.
  12. I have bought some clubs off ebay, as it is excellent because you can buy a club, and then if you don't like it, sell it again. Sometimes you lose, sometimes you earn, it really is great.
  13. I own two, althought one isn't mine. Odyssey Dual force And a bullseye Johnny littler or something? that I found
  14. OH, so you already have that shaft. Well its your choice, I would say either: Prolaunch Blue 75G stiff OR Proforce V2 75G Stiff.
  15. Or I don't watch tv enough. Sorry I didn't know that happened.
  16. Well yes, if you have a quick tempo. What shaft do you currently have?
  17. Well if it is too stiff for your swing, it will feel "boardy", and you will probably cut the ball more than needed, and have trouble hitting draws. I think it is more to do with the tip than the actual stiffness rating of the shaft (R,S,X). If you can get a swingspeed and tell me your tempo, that could help.
  18. Ian Poulter
  19. 350 yard par 5?
  20. I think that it is the American's teamwork is what is letting them down. Apparently the Europeans share cars etc. but the americans are very solo for the week, which might explain why they lose a lot of the team events.
  21. Also try the normal Prolaunch (blue). The red is a tour shaft and might be too stiff unless you have a very fast tempo. The Proforce V2 is also an excellent, very consistent shaft so definetly try that too. If your local fitter has a callaway Opti-fit thing, you could just try all the different shafts with a FT-5 head to see what the shafts react like.
  22. Well he was saying that the YS-6 has a very weak tip which causes it to be a more flexible shaft near the head. This would cause it to be a bit less consistent and when you try and put a bit extra into one, it could cause a snap hook or baloon. (I think) I see that he has put a Prolaunch Red into his, which is an excellent accuracy shaft, as it is very stiff.
  23. Its not how you mark your ball, its how you mark your Titleist LOL, but I normally just draw a small line on the A.I.M line and colour in a hole in the number of the ball I use
  24. A 77 and your off a 6 index? You must be pretty consistent to stay that low when you are only shooting 1 under your handicap with your best score?
  25. I think the combination of a 905R with a YS-6 is excellent, but all drivers will draw and fade, it just depends on your swing. Although all titleist drivers should be less draw biased than most other brands.
