  1. humm. I'm guilty .. I got caught up with Stricker and the Fedex cup... you're correct, they dont......
  2. unorthodox true, in their backswing, but at the point of contact, where it matters, all of the pros are the same. Not looking at the ball at any time as you strike it, will lead to inconsistancies. it's not a matter of saying "you have to change", it's simply stating the facts. Any sport that relies on hand eye, or foot coordination, your focus is on the target but eye is on the ball.
  3. 10 and under... if you're going to get blades, it's for the intent to really be able to work the ball, not just to have pretty clubs. I'm currently shopping for a backup set, more than likely will be mp-60's which are cavity forged.
  4. 45 once. Now i will do only 18 with 3-4 hrs pre-work.
  5. Based on the playoff system, it doesn't work that way. They have to play together based on their ranking. I don't like this pairing because it's hard for me to pick one over the other. Stricker is a hell of a nice guy, it's hard not to pull for him.
  6. I was very amazed with the XG 2ball CS putter. That maybe my next purchase.
  7. Welcome, I just moved to NC after living in Boca Raton/Miami for 10 yrs. The courses out here are just awesome. Keep working hard on your game, remember keep your head down(that includes putting ) and hit the hell out of it.........
  8. Sonartec GS Tour IMHO is one of the best fairway woods.
  9. I think a new poll should start. There are a lot of golf babes that deserve recognition like Anna Rawson.
  10. You're obviously having a lot of fun playing golf right now and feel comfortable with your putting, which is how it should always be However if you intend on taking this game to the next level what so ever, your putting will need to change.
  11. maintaining your eyes constantly on the cup instead of down at the ball, you're going to have problems with executing preasure putts or putts with various lie angle.
  12. it's a drill to help you measure your lag putts and build confidence with those 40 footers. I personally wouldnt bring it to a course.
  13. nice tempo, your backswing is a hair faster then what i like to see, over all very good.
  14. I do not believe they do. I've yet to hook the ball unintentionally.
  15. I use the Hibore hybrid 19*. For me is very easy to hit, always straight, i have great accuracy and control over it. Adam's are good as well.. I see the info-mercial on the Bobby jones, i would like to hit one.
  16. yeap that's the idea. As you practice this more and more, you want to be conscious of your lag timing. the greater the lag the more effortless your swing will be and the more power you'll create.
  17. Have you ever tried a center shaft putter? I've hit the odyssey two ball CS white hot XG. It's amazing how it kept my allignment straight. 575g is heavy but not that as heavy as the "Heavy putter" is. For me i have a problem gaging the speed of the ball, specially on fast green with heavy putters.
  18. you have the right concept. Another analogy is.... pretend you have line going from your chin straight down and you want to lead with your left hand behind that line, allowing the club head to drop down as your swinging through the ball, finishing up high on your follow through. Good job.. keep up the good work..
  19. I've always been a two plane swing, rerouting my swing through impact, Alah Fred Couples.
  20. worst case scenerio is buy a kit from ebay? i've read some reviews about the r7 425. Some people at first have problems adjusting to it but after changing weights around they luv it.. just a thought to keep in mind.
  21. so Dan, what's going to happen to that 905r?
  22. what are we defining the weight of a heavy putter to be? what could be light for me is heavy for you? try taking longer strokes, thus allowing the acceleration of the putter head add the distance you need.
  23. I saw some today. Anyways, for the person who started this thread. Look for demo days, get fitted. More than likely your end result maybe totally different than what you thought.
  24. you think we'll ever see another Payne Stewart? we do miss him and what he brought to the game.
  25. those of you that have a low handicap and like blades, consider the 67's.
