  1. I have the Ogio Grom as well. I like it a lot. I tried a few bags last season and this one was by far the best quality out of the few I had. The zipperless ball pocket is actually nice.
  2. After not careing for the clubs I played with last year,I purchased a set of Adams A3OS to go with my Hybrids I was playing. I got into them at a good price but haven't really hit them yet. I am nervous about playing them because they are Graphite Shafts. I have a fairly slow swing speed,I feel I lack distance, but hit the ball straight. What are the downsides to haveing Graphite Irons? Is there any downsides to playing super game improvement irons like the A30s's if my game is kinda above that (about a 12 handi) THanks
  3. I carry two, but they are the 4,5. I found I hit my 3 hybrid about as far as my 5 wood. I like my 5 hybrid, its one of my favorite clubs. I even use it alot for greenside.
  4. I agree with everyone else. With his feedback record I highly doubt you are getting a fake. I think you got a great deal as well.
  5. I have played them for a few rounds. They are a decent softer feeling ball. However they do scuff/mark really easy. I don't ever scuff balls, however I scuff these all the time.
  6. I really like my Ogio bag alot. I had the Callaway Warbird bag and was not impressed with the quailty
  7. Golfsmith is showing the regular version on their site for $299. Oct 3rd shipping date I think.
  8. Give the Ogio's a good look. I was/am impressed with them.
  9. My wife is an inanimate object most of the time and I talk to her from time to time as well.
  10. What ball I play depends on how/when I am playing. If I am not hitting the ball well,or if I am playing early in the morning with dew still on the greens and everywhere, I don't always play a new top grade ball. However league play or at a nice place I break out the nicer balls usually. I agree with that post a couple above mine. The Nike Distance Soft is a grea ball for $15. I was turned onto that buy my teaching pro. He said alot of good golfers prefer that over alot of other balls. Birdieman I think I read your review about golfballselector.com and while I thought it was a good review. Wasen't it mostly just common sense choice's of all the top selling balls available? Didn't it cost a small fortune trying them all?
  11. I think the code is good for most items. Its not limted to the balls, I know that much. Not sure if,when it expires.
  12. Yeah after checking my shipping status I found they were on back order, even though I orginally had a ship and receive date. Crap I was at Tourning Stone yesteday and would have looked in the proshop for some.
  13. Back 3 posts, I mentioned I picked a dozen up from Golfsmith and gave a code for free shipping. Mine should be here Tuesday.
  14. For those like me without a decent golf/pro shop in their area. Golfsmith has them on their website now. Shipping tommorow. Use coupon code BBAC710 for free shipping.
  15. I want a dozen but the only one's selling them are on ebay, and only selling them in 3/6 dozen lots. I know no store's in my area will see them before next season. Hate to have to spend the $ on 3 dozen and have the hassle of reselling the others.
  16. I bought the Skycaddie SC5 at the start of the season and love it. Its been about perfect for everything I wanted it to do and I very seldom touch it more then to turn it on and set it 9 I am playing (my home course has 27). It was a little more then others I shopped for. But I bought it from ebay for $100 less then retail.
  17. You could even go with the Pro V1's or Pro V1X's Xouts. Dick's sells then for $30 and there are lots of store coupons out there to make them even cheaper.
  18. After playing a few rounds with mine, I just love it. I have played quite a few drivers this season and finally feel I have found the one for me. I did have to adjust how far I stand from the ball a little due to the longer shaft, but I am very pleased with the results. I have a slower swing speed and don't get alot of distance off the tee(about 220/230) but I have gained a few yards on average. I find it to be very accurate and the ball flight about ideal for me. I would recommend it.(not that, that means anything)
  19. Sam's clubs sells a muti sport net, that I use in the back yard. It runs about $40. I picked up a decent mat at Dick's last year for about the same price. Its not that big,but I have hit alot of balls off it and it has held up real well. It has short and long grass plus a tee hole.
  20. Just traded some stuff in and picked one up at Dick's today. Hope to use it this weekend.
  21. Looks like Golfsmith has it for $150 http://www.golfsmith.com/products/SC.../Detour_Putter Looks like the same one to me.
  22. I have played the Pro V1 Xouts from Dick's all season and found them to be great. If you use the Dick's coupons that come out now and then, I have picked them up for as low as $20 a dozen. Can't beat that.
  23. I played a 2 ball sleave Dick's handed out a month or so back. I was impressed with the ball. It had a soft feel, and played real well. They only sell for $22 ever place I have seen them. Well worth the $ IMO
  24. I picked up a nice pair of Nike's at the tail end of last season. I found them to be very uncomfortable and hated them. I picked up a pair of Walter Hagen's and liked them but didn't wear them much at all. I found myself wearing my Footjoy sandels most of the time when it was hot. I ordered a black pair of Dryjoys and found them to be a great shoe and very comfortable, however my only complaint was the laces. For the price of the shoes, the laces are beyond crappy and cheap. Great shoe otherwise.
  25. I have the A30S's and love them as well. I liked them so much I went with the Insight Boxer 3,5 woods as well, and love them too. I have spent much of the season buying and trying different clubs, that felt and performed "perfect" for me and these seem to be it.
