I was talking to my father-in-law about this very thing this past weekend. I honestly believe that I have come to the point that reading this stuff has made me worse as a golfer. I know they probably try to have good intentions. But, the simply fact is garbage in equals garbage out.

Yesterday shot an 86 with 5 water balls and 31 putts.

I got a chance to play the front nine only because of summer storms. It is a real nice track though. Good place middle of nowhere. Just another suggestion there is a little resturant about 10 min away from there back toward San Destin called Cafe Thirty-A. I would recomend to anyone. Make sure to call and get a reservation though.

You know a funny thing though is that I was playing with my father about two weeks ago and he told me that he had tried this putting method of curving his stroke and it just f'ed his putting up. I watched him the whole round and what he thinks is straight back and through is actually curved. So in reality when he tried this he was putting way to much curve on it and missing putts. I am not an expert on this but I can imagine that everyone has a little curve on their line while putting.

I prefer "The Trap" but I do just look on golfwrx to see what is coming out. It just seem a little more my speed here not to over techincal. I mean you can get caught up in all that techincal crap and for get this is a game we all love and this is the real reason we are here.

I have the lamkin full cord grips on all of my clubs and I love them. Stopped wearing a glove because of the humidity in Mississippi and these don't slip at all.

I never have used one. The only reason is I am just to anal and it would take me 30 min. to line my ball up.

If it didn't then why on earth would you not play the game with 2 clubs one to hit and one to put.

In short yes you will get more carry if you take a divot because your hands have passed in front of the clubface and you have taken more of the loft you were previously giving the club out of the picture. When you deloft the club you will get more carry.
