    Dear Forum

I put myself into the "penalty box" and deserved it.When I told E.B. I would not repeat my actions and asked for a second chance he accepted me back in.I too say that if you don't like the ship you can always get off at the next port.I know I'm am sailing onward though.
  2. I agree with Reid. When I am feeling a little unsure about hitting a particular shot quite often I will take more club than usual. With a slow, smooth 3/4 backswing ball contact and control feels much more solid.
  3. Cleveland ProComp 9"xstiff,Cleveland Procomp15"stiff,Cleveland Procomp17"stiff,Cleveland Steel 22"stiff(bent 2" strong),Cleveland CG2-5,6,7,8,9,P.W.,ClevelandCG10-53",56",and 60".have used my Yonex SuperA.D.X. tour forged EVERY round for the past 14 years!! It has a grafite shaft in it which gives great feel on putts over 30 feet,of which I've had too many lately but I'm working on it.golf ball is the ProV1,numbers 1 and 3 ONLY.I wear the newest Footjoy glove, sorry don't know the particular style.
  4. I too do not use the line to putt with.I have enough demons floating in my skull moments before impact so one more checklist item is not needed.funny how putting consumes all my willpower to succeed yet the rest of my game I just let it happen.A missed 2 footer will bug me way more than a 7 iron hit 15 yards off line.
  5. Talk about jinx, haha,I played a tournament 2 Years ago using the number 4 ProV1 and played so badly if I find a brand new one in my golf bag I will give it away to the first person I see. Any one else excluding certain # balls?
  6. I like the ProV1 for the line they have stamped onto it.When I want to draw or fade the ball I can position the line towards my intended target to give me feeling of how much to spin the ball left or right. Also a dot, always black Sharpie, under the number.
  7. I too have one pair of Footjoys,LT model, and they are the only pair I have at this time.No need for a second pair because these clean up like new after a rainy round and have bullitt proof soft spikes. Not one tear in the "claw" of any spike after 5 months and 42 rounds.p.s. not bad for $120.00
  8. correct me if I'm wrong but the stats on the carry distance are just that.If you include the roll after the ball lands that would then be total drive distance,yes?Z.J. does not have a high lanch angle to his drive so 30 yards of roll seems believable.
  9. I wish that I had just 1% of M.W.'s talent.and when she does decide to become a mom,(which is her decision alone),I'm sure she will be able to support the child with $$ from her many wins on the L.P.G.A. she is destined to do.
  10. I would like to take this time to say sorry to all Forum members who I may have offended with remarks or poor thread posts.I will not bore you with specifics concerning my actions as I have dealt with them and am ready to move on.Thank you for a second chance Iacas. Flash
  11. does anyone remember how to count their steps from any 100-150-200yd.marker.can't believe the amount of fools who think EXACT yardage makes them a player. guess I'm old school .If Jack.N. had one would he have won 43 majors. never know.christ I don't know why I keep posting to these hack sites
  12. my goal is to travel to pensilvainya and take the amatur trophy home.anythings' possible
  13. What good is a pre-shot routine if you have no confidence in where the ball goes.As far as I can remember back you have to actually hit the ball.looking like a "robot" before every strike ain't gonna get you no moola man. Hit the ball.practice looking like a pro AFTER you can "hit the shot"
  14. In 45f. weather would the fairway allow a ball to bounce truly? If your course does, lucky you. With your handicap just go with the club that will get to the front of the green and you will either have a long putt, depending on pin location,or a chip. Why a knock down shot?
  15. I have won 27 long drive contests through out the Pacific Northwest going back to when I was 15 till about 2 years ago and they stopped because of shoulder and back problems SO driving is the part of my game that now almost drives(sorry,no pun intented),me to tears. I would sell my soul to the devil to have IT back!

    The other Rory

should be a no brainer that Mcilroy will one day be the oldest living bachelor on tour, even if he does win a major or 20.

    Phils' Majors

The one deal T.W. cannot close,YET, is a major win from behind.Through all his accomplishments I think he feels that every time he is behind going into the final round he is thinking"can I do this?" I am sure he win do it soon and then..... oh boy maybe 30 majors? heck, why not. He ceases to amaze!
  18. My last thought before beginning backswing is extend(take back low) and I MUST remember to turn my shoulders as I'm going low.In other words I try to maintain a "V" with my shoulders pointing to my hands. This is how I was taught and sometimes, haha, still works.Cheers Flash
  19. He should make a golf movie with T.W. and Woody Austin and call it 'The good, the bad,and the ugly'.
  20. Touche' ..someone caught me in a mistake again, wow you all shud inglish teechurs
  21. I feel the top 25 should be made up of first timers to the P.G.A. not some 40'ish past LOSER of his card. everyone gets 1 free ticket but the buck stops after that.go monday qualify like the rest
  22. I can't get my hands started correctly on plane because....well..it's kind of embaressing....my dodo gets in the way.thought of wearing a glove on it but found out it's against the rules.now what
  23. I was a scratch player for 20 years, got down as low as +3,and then BAM,kids became priority which I'm very cool with. They are grown up and on their own now .anyways....... my point is putting is the determining factor.I use to practice 2-3 hours a day. then for reasons stated...very short if not none at all time to. IF you want it,You can achieve IT. I wish you good luck
  24. I lost 11 balls in 56 rounds and all except 4,(o.b.'s), were in water hazards.not laterals but ones between myself and the green. frustrating as heck!
  25. You live in a state where golf can be played 12 months a year.Your kids have plenty of days in the year to go with you and if they feel so inclined they can "smack" the ball around. Unless your 7 year old is driving you crazy to want to play, for no I would just enjoy the time spent with them and wait till one of them shows the encouragement to go to the next level.(taking lessons, etc.)
