    Tiger's irons

Actually, mizuno does not have a factory where they make their irons. They do have a factory that produces the irons for them. Tiger irons come from the same factory, so people assume that tigers irons are from mizuno but with nike stamp on it
  2. Ok, lets see... 1. Be more consistent I want to stop hitting bad shots. For some odd reason, this year, I've had my best golf, and my worst golf in years. In one round I'd shoot in the 70's, and in the very next in the 90's (great -.-). I'd choke down in very important ocasions (like being 5 over par, and confortably in the cut, and end up 21 over for that particular round...). That being said, I want to shoot in the 70's 2 out of 3 times. I just have to focus really hard on this to be able to do it. 2. Stop trying to change my swing every single day I think that this is my worst point. Even when I'm hitting the ball pretty well, I always end up killing my swing because someone tells me to do something like this or like that... I got to trust in me and in my golf coach. I guess that I'll have to be rude for some people back at my club that think that they know a whole lot about the swing... 3. Stats GIR - 70%; FW - 70%; Putts per round - at most 28.5; Scrambling - 85%; Sand Saves - 80% 4. Enjoy golf One shot at a time, really, not get ahead of yourself. I do this all the time, and eventually, I'll stop doing it.
  3. Can I borrow you wife? lol, joking ;) Congrats man, those are great clubs!
  4. I did this in the middle of the year because of not having the desired scores on 5 holes. 1. Pick up some 10 golf balls. 2. Tee them all up on the island green tee. 3. Play them to the green. Yes you will lose most of them, but just wait to see that if you keep practicing like this, you will get a big boost of confidence, because, eventually, you'll be hitting that green fairly often. I recomend doing this by the end of the day, thats what I did. Oh, I also asked the guys at the clubhose to do that, so that I wouldn't get suspended.
  5. Not even considering it
  6. A big miserable fail at most of them. I guess that, because I had to rebuilt my swing over the summer, I did not do what I should have done. In other words, I guess that this year was a preparation year for the 2009 campaing lol
  7. I guess you should see if you have diabetes. One friend of mine has that desease, and we sometimes have to stop for the guy to get his sugar levels back up. Plus, I guess you should walk 9 holes more often
  8. When I play with my golf teacher we usually make some bets. He normally wins the first event, but I allways win the second, so we are allways even. Plus we allways place a 12 pro v1 bet.
  9. Ya know, the other day, I was at the driving range, and not hitting the ball very well. Then a guy comes to me and starts giving every kind of advice he can possibly make up, and I'm almost pissed. I tell you 5 more seconds, I'd ask the guy to go and get his advice up his a$$
  10. If you think like that you will never improve very much. Overall, I conside myself an average putter. This year, my average putts per round is about 29.5, and I'm not happy about it, because I only hit about 7-9 greens per round. To me, a good putter is someone that on each 2 out of 5 rounds makes 28 putts or less and never above 29.
  11. If you got nothing between you and the hole, you should try a low shot. Anytime you can put something running, do it. Otherwise, try and play a grab-chip, that means a chip that hits, jumps and stops right next to teh hole
  12. My longest round was 6 and 3/4 hours. The funny thing is that we finished up our first 9 holes in 2 1/4 hours...
  13. I once shot a 17 on a par 3. That particular round I finished 48 over...
  14. Not yet. I will start doing that after january 6th I usually play all white/ white shirt and kahki pants

    7 wood

    I'd rather have a 2 iron
  16. They get worn out pretty fast too... I'd say, put some creams after the round, like those women use
  17. Walking? well I think it was some 30 holes or so. But see, I play a golf course that cannot compare to your golf courses because where I play is a sort of a mountain golf course. The course mesures 6.2k meters, but if you count the lenght that you have to walk to get to the next tee, you'd have to add up more 5k meters. Thats a hell of a lot...
  18. Every team last season was afraid to play against man utd because of ronaldo, so we can say that he "dominated" soccer last year. Other dominant players? Nicklaus, Hogan, Snead (in golf) Armstrong (cycling), Schumacher (F1), Michael Jordan (NBA player). But no one can really match tiger...
  19. I've only shot over 36 putts twice. What you have to do is think "I'd rather leave a putt short for a gimme, than a long one and a comeback put from about 12 feet".
  20. Someone once said that Tiger, when he entered the clubhouse at Augusta National, saw one of the masters player drinking a beer. He walked by him and said "If I had YOUR talent, I'd be drinking a beer too". And that's why I will never drink alcohol
  21. been there chipped in
  22. lol, that has to hurt.
  23. You know dude, some of us suddendly pick some tip up/swing though and here we go. When my hadicap was a 23, I shot 13 over and got it down to 19. Then, when my hcp was 16, I played on a course where it sloped to 19 and shot 9 over. Dropped to 13, and on the next 2/3 tournament shot well enough to get my handicap down to 11. Now it has taken me almost a full year to get to a 7 hcp.I have to start next year in about a 7/6 tops. I must be a scratch golfer by my birthday (sep 18th). I know a hand full of guys who did it, so I guess that it isn't that hard... You just have to work your butt off...
  24. I've actually three putted nearly 20 times since that lol. I've set that personal best during spring break
  25. Why? Isn't it good to have 45 consecutive greens at 2 and less putts?
