  1. When Tiger made the turn I just had a feeling we'd see what we saw. I also had a feeling he was going to chip in one #16. Obviously I couldn't have been sure but I just had a feeling.
  2. I like the Titleist a lot more. But the way the Taylormade's set up and the white head....idk just not for me.
  3. None of the above really. Always looking to improve my game. Wanting to break 70 this year but I'm not coming along like I'd like.
  4. Sweet. Glad to know people seem to like what I have to say.
  5. Titleist is back to making good drivers. I've never really been a big Titleist guy till this year but I'm telling you the 910 series is good. I know a club pro who has been playing the 905 since it came out and wouldn't switch to any other Titleist drivers becuase he didn't like them. He's now got the 910 D3 in the bag. Although I do think the Callaway Razr fit driver has the hottest overall face on the market based on my persoan expeience. Only reason I didn't get it is because the 910 has a much better "fitting" system.
  6. Bell's Oberon. Brewed in my hometown of Kalamazoo, MI. LOVE IT!!!!
  7. The other day I sold a 12 degree Titleist driver that I set to A4 which added 1.5* of loft so a 13.5* driver. The person I sold it to generated anywhere from 110-115 MPH of club head speed and even with that much loft at an angle of attack of 1 he still had a launch angle of only about 11*. Sometimes he'd get it up to 12-13 but only one in five or so.
  8. My 6 iron is my 160-165 club. I've been working hard on getting my hands in front at impact lately so I'm hoping I can get it to the point where the controlled 6 iron goes 165 and when I decide to go at it I can hit it more like 170-175.
  9. Jack Nicklaus was left handed. I hear he did alright.
  10. True that! I hit those things so freaking high and when I tested the frequency on 'em it was pretty awful.
  11. Stock Dynamic Gold S300. I wasn't really a fan of the Project X 5.5 or KBS S shafts. I like the feel and trajectory the DG shafts give me. I would like to also note my D2 910 driver came in today!
  12. IMHO the new ones are much better than the originals but if you hit the ones you have now well I wouldn't change. I wondered what shaft because you seemed to have paid more for yours than mine but it was probably the shaft.
  13. I started out the year not even thinking of buying new clubs. Then I realized through my program I can get a good deal on Titleist equipment and I had been thinking about getting AP2s so after some long deliberation I got the AP2s and a 56 and 60 vokey because my current wedges were at least 4 years old. Then I try out my friends 910F fairway wood thinking I loved my 5 year old Taylormade R7 but boy did I love the 910F much more. Then I was playing golf with my boss and noticed I wasn't getting the most out of my drives so he said we should put me on Trackman and find me a new driver. Turns out the 910 D2 10.5 set at D4 with a stiff shaft literally gives me 10-15 yards more carry because of the increased loft mostly. So now the only clubs that are left are my Ping G10 21* hybrid and my Ping D66 putter. Tried the Titleist 910H but really didn't see it performing any better than my Ping. Also figured I'd try out a Scotty Newport 2 because I liked the way it looked. Putted with it and as it turns out I'm really not a fan. I've yet to find a better putter than my Ping D66 so I think it's going to be in my bag for a long time as well as my new irons, driver, and fairway wood.
  14. The course I work at has "eco tees". They're biodegradable and Al Gore approved. Jk on the Gore part.
  15. Sounds like to me "the fans" take PGA Tour golf more seriously than the guys out there actually playing (by this I mean the players seem to understand there are more important things than golf).
  16. Nice set up. I thought about doing some type of combo set when I ordered my Titleist irons but decided to go with all AP2s. Can't say I have any regrets.
  17. Almost everyone gets nervous when coming down the stretch and they know they have a chance at winning (even tour players). Embrace the nerves. Tiger describes it as "their drug". The more you play and put yourself in contention the better you will do with dealing with the nerves. This is why it's important to treat every shot the same and have a good pre-shot routine.
  18. Sounds to me you just need to learn to win. How do you do that? You play in tournaments. The win will come. I've taken 2nd in many tournaments. One of which I made a quad on the last hole to lose by a shot. But I learned from it and I learned from a lot of other tournaments I came close to winning. It'll come.
  19. What shafts and grips did you have put on?
  20. I buy all my stuff new. Personally I would probably never buy wedges used unless they were barely used.
  21. Right now I'm sporting a 47, 52, 56, and 60. For years it was 46, 56, 60, and 64. I'm tempted to get rid of the 52 because I don't like using it around the green but when I'm 90-100 yards out it's a nice club to have.
  22. I play 'em all the time. I really don't notice a difference in flight and yeah they can be hard to put into the ground. I don't really think about it though if you move an inch to a different spot you can normally put it right in.
  23. Working on my ball striking. Mostly keeping my hands in front of the ball. Been hitting a lot of 1/2 shots to really get the feel of keeping my hands forward. I've seen great results. Now I just need my short game to come back because I have no clue where it went.
