  1. T. Woods -6 D. Johnson -6 R. Rock -6
  2. I was too busy to watch but after seeing the results, I am quite happy. Congrats to DJ. And it was great to see Daly doing well. He is having a good year.
  3. Not bad, but the big thing I notice is your head movement.
  4. I have had the Nike Air Range shoes for a year or so and love them. They are very comfortable. But, next year when I get new shoes, these will be something I will look at. I like these style of golf shoes.
  5. Experts picks had Graham as the favorite? Well, sucks he missed the cut. But, I had him on my fantasy team, so a very unusual finish for him. I also have Dustin Johnson and Rory McIlroy and Seab O'Hair. Not bad, but not great picks as of now.
  6. Sprained/fractured my ankle this past week, does this count? I guess I won't be playing for a month or so. There are some good plays out there. I am already missing the game.
  7. Great groupings. I'll be wanting to see Rickie and Bubba. Hope they do well because I so not want to watch Phil. Should be a good tourney
  8. The first hole at La Cantera in San Antonio is 666 yards. That seems long for the first hole of a round. The pros played there up until a couple of years ago. Fun hole though
  9. The team is a lot better, his teamate got a pole and win this year. If it rains though watch out got Schummy, he'll find his way to a nice podium finish.
  10. Yeah, but lost it due to penalty. Still nice to see him up there. It has been a tough year so far for him
  11. I played this course for the first time in months. They have decided to let the rough grow out, a lot. Anyways, I drove into the long grass, 3 to 4 feet of it. I was happy enough to find my ball let alone have a shot at the green. I clubbed up on the shot and it flew great out of it. I got it to stick on the green and went on the four putt, but at least that shot was nice,.
  12. Safe to say two, not more, I think

  14. Played 9 at Golf Club of Texas. First time there in 5 months. I tried something with my drives and kind of worked. I had some great long drives and a few bad short drives. But, I am on the right track. My putting was great. I never did worse than a two putt. And I had a lot of long putts, too. So, I scored a 46, +10. I am very happy with that. I had a birdie, par, and 5 bogeys. And my longest drive was 287, and that was awesome.
  15. 7th hole at Cedar Creek in San Antonio. I was 235 out (bad drive) on the fairway. This is my typical distance for a drive. So I figured I was safe to pull out my trusty 4 hybrid. This club is consistantly a nice 200 yard club for me. I step up to the ball planning to play down the center of the hole and set up a short wedge shot. I took my shot and BAM that thing made perfect contact. I should add I did not have a view of the greens or most of the fairway. I was just infront of a hill. I ran up said hill to try and follow my ball. By the time I got on the hill my ball rested on the green, with the foursome in fornt of us looking at my ball. I gave them a wave and let them know I did not plan on reaching the green when I caught up with them on the next hole, (they were damn slow). Anyways, my shot carried to the green. There was a nice divot and my ball was a few feet from there. To shorten it up, I hit a 4h 235 yards to the center of the green, a good 30 yards further than I expected.
  16. Nice points. I am glad to see Rory off the top spot. And can't wait to see Tiger get that #1 spot, again.
  17. Not trying to get a better score, but it is a 1/18 scale model that was used as tee boxes for this years Hyundai tourney of Champions. This has my two favorite hobbies all in one (golf and car models). I ended up buying the model. Also, I too am not a huge Hyundai fan either.
  18. I sliced a tee shot real bad. It was heading towards long grass where the ball would never be found again. It was until I hit the front of a small bulldozer. It bounced off it and went another 100 yards down the fairway. I ended up with a 250 yard drive in the center of the fairway.
  19. The photos are nice. But, you should be focusing on the course itself. The second photo is great, but it needs more green. You have an eye, now just look at the course. Thanks for sharing, though. I like em.
  20. 8, because I would be sliding on my ass
  21. Ouch, today is not the day i expected to have. But, my first post on this thread is an unfortunate one. I shot 114. I had a lot of issues with my driver. My buddy was saying I was hitting it like I do my long irons. Anyways, by the end of the day I figured it out, but I was so tired and frustrated it did not help. Very bad day, but a few good holes and some excellent shots to work from.
  22. 88 once, and the only time I broke 90
  23. Tiger 13 player here. I have it on PS3. I play the career mode mostly; 4 rounds, but I sim the first round. It makes it challenging to make the cut. It sounds like there is a CC set up here and as I know no one how plays, what would it take to get an invite? I know I am new and all, but I play a lot; nearly every other day.
  24. You scores will improve. I think we might be at the same place as far as scoring. I noticed as I moved back before I was ready my scores would drop, and confidence. I would say try moving up and see how it feels. You should play better and when you scores improve so will your game.
  25. San Antonio, well the obvious is TPC San Antonio. I played both and really, nothing to complain about. Others that are great would be La Cantara (old site for teh Valaro Texas Open), Brakenridge, and I have to be honest, the golf course on Lackland AFB is great. They are making changes right now to the bunkers, but the greens and fairways are always in top condition.
