  1. The TS model will make it a little easier to open the face up (flop shots, etc). I have the non-TS version and I got a T-Grind done on my 60*. It basically makes it a TS club.
  2. I have the 56* and 60* (with a grind from Ping) and I love them. Plenty of stopping power (spin) and great feel.
  3. I have the FP2's and I really like them.
  4. Definitely no need to add a "tree club", you already have a bunch of them. My typical get-out-of-woods-free card is my 6 iron. I aim myself right of my target line and slightly close down the face of the club and focus on making solid contact. Distance needed will dictate how hard I swing. It can be anything from a hard chip to a full swing. I can usually keep it at 5' or less off the ground if I need to and still get a good distance. The hooded club face helps get some roll to make up for the lack of height.
  5. I have a 10.5* driver and a 15* 3W. I went with 20* and 23* for my hybrids but they were to replace my identically lofted 3 (20*) and 4 (23*) irons.
  6. I've driven #4 at my home course once (tee boxes set at 294-center according to GPS), and I've driven on or over #15 three times (tee boxes set around 296-center). Is this my average? No, of course not, but I've done it.
  7. Callaway Tour ix. Distance and spin.
  8. I play it a little forward and up-stroke it.
  9. The cart idea may work, depending on how his leg responds. For me, it makes it worse. If I ride a cart when my leg is hurting, I can't finish the round because it just keeps getting worse.
  10. I fight it in my left leg as well. I always walk when I play, but on the occassion that I did try to ride it made it worse as the muscles never really got a chance to loosen up. If mine starts hurting during a round, it will last about 6-7 holes, then it will magically disappear for the rest of the round. I've fought mine for a 1 1/2 years (I got them playing raquetball). If it doesn't get better, see a doctor. There are two other things it can be: stress fracture or anterior compartment syndrome which is serious shit.
  11. What about a wedge? What is your wedge setup like now?
  12. My review of the Clicgear 2.0 http://www.laymon-family.com/roadtothetour/?p=82
  13. Just use one side of the strap. I did that the whole time I carried my bag (I use a push cart now). It had a double strap but I just put the one strap over my right shoulder.
  14. I have callouses on my right hand on my ring finger between the palm and first joint and on my index finger between the first and second joints. I don't have any on the left hand, though. I'm really not sure on treatment. Mine don't hurt so I just leave them alone.
  15. Google the name of the developer and you'll see they have a stunning track record of producing the worst-reviewed games ever made. While I agree, the concept is pretty damn cool, the execution will probably be shit.

  17. Non-TP will also have a closed face (1* or so). TP's will play slightly open (1*-2*).

    Cheater!!!!!!

I had a situation at work where I golfed with a guy and he came in the next day and was bragging about how he beat me. Never counted OB, dropped 30 yards ahead of OB shots, took gimmies, etc. We went out a couple weeks later and I told him "If you want to run off at the head about score, we're playing by the rules. Otherwise, shut up." He did (except for one shot) and got his ass kicked and never said anything about score again.
  19. There are guys I golf with regularly that want to stand directly behind me (on my line) when I'm driving or putting. I routinely have to ask them to move to the side. On the drives, they are just trying to help watch the ball if it goes offline. On the putts, they're trying to get a free read.
  20. Our range is maybe 240 to the net, but the net is probably 30-40' high at least.
  21. I played on some really hard tee boxes this weekend (had to cram them in the ground) and I never snapped one. I am honestly surprised at your experience.
  22. Who. Gives. A. Shit.
  23. You're breaking Zero Friction tees? I used one tee for my whole round yesterday.
  24. Even if your HCP changes with the score you enter, you enter the ESC based on your HCP when the round started. So, your ESC cutoff is "7" for the round you just posted.
  25. I think the two main differences are comfort and durability of the upper. Otherwise, a shoe is a shoe.
