Yea they need someone new to call the shots on the GC, than ran over to show Tiger and Badd match ending,while showing how well Wie was doing in the LPGA tournament for two hours, then leaves the LPGA match with Wie waiting for a ruling standing in the road. Not that I'm a Wie fan but I'd have like to see her hit the shot.

That's the point of practicing at a private club, they would not be bothered for autographs while he was on the range.

If your a touring pro you can go to any private club pro shop and they will allow you to practice usually for free.

No, regular balls and I'm deadly around the green from five yards in.

The better courses rent better clubs. Take your golf shoes,glove,tees and some balls. You should be good to go. check courses near your hotel and call about rental clubs. print out driving directions from the hotel and play some golf.

I go to a golf dome for practice and bowling. I also putt and chip at home on the carpet but I do that all year long.

First you need to find the true distance on a fairway then hit a few normal shots and measure off that mark. I've seen course make a green larger or moving it back 20 yards and not change the markers in the fairway. Cutting a dogleg and measuring from a marker to the green will give the wrong distance you hit the ball. not looking for the official distance marker on the tee and where the markers are on the tee box could give or take 5-15yards easy. You should find your normal drive distance,not the one you hit once in awhile. I've used the skycaddie to measure good shots in the fairway and many of the guys always say they thought they hit it longer than they actually did.

Got a Power Mac G4, seems to be a great machine. Trying to learn my way around since I've only used Windows until now. It's used,but got it free. No manual came with it,have to got to the store and find a basic book for operating a Mac. I can't even open the CD slot, how funny is that.

If it's taking a minute or two to take off and replace a head cover you need to go back to the range and practice that move.
