I don't get how people can say the Target tournament doesn't count... yet Nelson's 4-Ball tournament with a partner counts in his streak. I would think that having a partner in a 4-Ball tournament is much more controversial than that Target tournament was... But I guess a PGA tour event is a PGA tour event...

Opinions? I've used mallet putters my entire golf career but I've been out of the game for the last few years. I'm guessing Odyssey is still near/at the top...

While true, there is one thing I've just never quite understood about that rule... What is stopping a player from saying an "accidental" hit was an intentional shot?

While it's true that attempting "flop shots" are and should be a last option, it's always good to have the shot available to you no matter the skill level. The only way you will know if you can use this shot effectively is practice. And practice. And even a bit more practice. It took me a few months on the practice greens, but once I was able to hit the shot effectively, it helped me immensely with those difficult pin positions.

I would run into that ALL of the time in high school... I played with mostly hand-me-downs throughout my high school 'career', and I would constantly get looks from the older members at the club I was a member of. Usually those looks turn into pissed off looks after the first 9 when they realized I was consistently outdriving them with a Rawlings driver... :)

I don't see any part of his game that puts Jack in front of Tiger. I mean really, it is BEYOND incredible what Tiger has accomplished already in his short career.
