Commonplace unfortunately...seems like very few people like to play by the proper rules...and they don't take the game seriously enough to want to make the difficult shots...

Jeez - reminds me of the quote: Revenue is vanity, profits are sanity, cash is king why would you feel that just hitting it further is a better "emotional" result... Lowest score is what it is about... IMHO

Good to know! I've just used regular white tape in the past but never for golf - just for rock climbing. Does the trick but like the idea of padded tape!

kind of a tough one...i try and play at courses where I know it won't be nuts and chock a block full of people...but hard to make a call when you are already a member there. I don't envy you one bit but perhaps bringing it up at a club meeting might help - there may be others who feel the way you do?

why choose? I've signed up for a great service from golf redefined. try out the g15 for as long as you want but at least you can try out others too...
