There is a course in southern part of Michigan that would qualify as a cow pasture. 9 holes of tall grass and greens with weeds and very little grass. I do not how they stay in business.

We normally go in November to Myrtle Beach for 4 or 5 rounds of golf. Because my golfing partner cannot get away in November we are going in October. Since we are in the Lansing, Michigan area. This year with the good weather we are planning to go to southern Indiana. We are leaving Sunday October 17th. Saves many hours of driving.

Have not updated since 2016. COVID-19 and a Baker's Cyst on my right knee has slowed me down. I have now played 1103 courses and have from them 1051 logo balls. This includes having played all 50 states, DC, and 25 countries in North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

I have not played the course since 2002, but I remember it was a nice course and I enjoyed 18-holes.

I am looking forward to a golf trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula. There are a number of beautiful courses to play. Have played there several times before.

I have lucky enough to have traveled since playing my first round of golf on Aug. 20, 2000. I have played in USA, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, England, France, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Italy, Austria, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, South Africa, Morocco, United Arab Emirates, That makes 25 countries.

I only played 40 rounds due to COVID. Got a few rounds in during February in AL and FL. The rest were in Michigan. Hopefully I will be able to travel some in 2021.

It is a personnel decision. I only save ones the courses sell. I have played about 75 courses that never had a ball, some of which are now out of business.Too bad they missed out selling loco and making a few extra bucks. I just got a ball from a course I played almost 10 years ago. It made my day, my week my month. If a course has a name change and I play it again then I consider it a new course.

I try to get a logo ball from each course I play. I have played 1068 course and have 1016 logo balls. Some courses have never had a logo ball and others have not had any in years. There are logo ball collectors and I have traded for some I was missing. How many do you have?

I am thinking of 2019 as it has turned cold in Michigan. I will be in Las Vegas in January for a trade show. I usual get in a couple of rounds. My wife & I plan to spend February in the Gulf Shores area and hopefully I will get in 6 to 10 games. April will be a golf trip with a buddy for 4 or 5 days and in May/June a trip to Nashville and a few rounds of golf.

I live in the greater Lansing, Michigan area. We have lost 3 Lansing municipal courses - Red Cedar, Sycamore and Waverly. Also Players Club in Lansing, Four Winds in East Lansing, Chardell in Bath, and Highland Hills in DeWitt. There are a number of other courses in Michigan that have closed in the last 10 years or so.

I will be in Charleston, WV for a week in June attending a Seminar. I will be able to get out and play 3 to 5 times. Want to know about local 18-hole and 9-hole courses. Any discount books, etc. available?

Just returned from a trip to St. George, UT and Laughlin, NV. Next trip will in June to Charleston, WV. Hopefully I will travel within the year to Senegal, Ghana, South Africa Botswana, Swaziland and Lesotho. A trip to Myrtle Beach in November and several trips of 2 or 3 days to Northern Michigan. That is what semi-retirement is all about.

Played 4 rounds in Myrtle Beach the middle of November. Got rained out for our final 5th round. Heading to Las Vegas in 2 weeks. Will also be in St. George, UT then down to Laughlin, NV for a few day. hopefully will get in four or more rounds. If all goes right in April or May will be in South Africa for a few weeks and will try again to get in 4 or more rounds.

I played 3 rounds in Vietnam while staying in Ho Chi Minh City. The trip to the courses were about 1 hour by car, but worth the time to see the country and people. Used a tour service and had no language problems either in the city (restaurant, shops, night market, etc.) or at the courses. The courses were lovely and fun to play. We played Song Be Resort, Vietnam Golf & Country Club and Long Thanh Golf Club.

Has anyone played in Dakar, Senegal or Accra, Ghana? I might be going to South Africa this fall or winter and Star Alliance (United Airlines and South African Airlines) stop some days at one and other at the other on flights from Washington, DC to Johannesburg, S. Africa. I plan to break the trip by stopping off for a few days both coming and going.

Hi Gunther, FYI I am 73 heading for 74 in early 2017. I am semi-retired and do travel some on business to which I add free time to test out the local courses where ever I am. My score now is 889 logo balls from 943 courses played. I added 3 more countries - Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina. I have trips in the works that will add several more in 2017.

I will be in Pretoria the end of February - beginning of March. Can anyone recommend a nice course to play (hopefully that has logo balls).

I save a logo ball from courses I play. I keep my scores on the computer so can tell how many different courses I have played, 1. How many courses have you played? 934 courses and have 880 logo balls (not all courses have logo balls) 2. How many states/countries does that cover? 50 states and 24 countries. This includes North America, South America, Europe, Asia and African continents. 3. Do you collect anything from each course you visit? a logo ball and my scorecard.

I may be spending a few days in Senegal on my to and then again on my way home from South Africa. Has anybody played courses in Dakar or Saly?

There seems to be 3 courses in Belize. A 9-hole course in a private development (Consejo Shores); 9-hole course (Roaring River) on the mainland and a 18-hole course on Caye Chapel. I understand the Caye Chapel course is being redone. Is it open again for play? Any comments on any of the courses? I plan to be there on business in 2017.

Brijuni Golf Course on Brijuni Island, Croatia. The island is surrounded by salt water. The greens are white. Hard packed sand. It makes putting very interesting.

I have now played about 900 courses in all 50 states, 6 Canadian Provinces, and 24 countries in North America, South America, Europe, Asia & Africa. My total says 910 courses, but 18 are the same course with new names. Of the 910 courses I have logo balls from 853 of them.

Any information would be appreciated about playing in either Porto Alegre or Sao Paulo, Brazil.

I plan to be in Buenos Aires in October. Is there anyone on this forum from BA? I would like to play at least once. Any suggestions?
