Was going for Boston but letting philly come back like that was rediculous, Philly is just a cinderella, it'll be a fluke if they beat the habs too.. which it looks like their gona do. Habs vs. Chicago in the final and it'd be worth watching and and a great story.. but Canadiens vs. Philly(who) would be a great story. Chicago's looking great, if only the Cans could comeback, i guess we'll see though. Damn, shoulda picked Toews in my pool =/. 1 sad and bitter Canucks fan.
-
Yeah Luongo is back in form but our D isnt backing him up. Bad turnovers cost the Nucks game 2. We'll see what happens in game 3.
-
Alot of people probably picked the Caps to go to the finals and so did I. So much for my pool. Damn Halak is good. Like a young Dom Hasek. Nucks and Penguins in the finals.
-
Cant believe the caps upset the Canadies, Horse sh*t. Im all about Canadian teams winning but i had 3 players from the caps in my pool.
-
The Canucks will beat Chicago, it'll be the best series you ever watchthough, all offense. Niemi cant hold up the fort. Nucks in 6.

Hi anyone that missed me.. (really no one) I just wanted to comment on my ****** play and let u know ur not alone if you're in the same boat. I need new clubs but i've grown away from golf so thats pointless. Seems like all my favorite players are doing the same. Mike Weir hits less greens than John Daly now so i guess things changed over the last little while. Seems like everyones playing like **** lately. The masters was good other than that i havent even watched golf. Grahem Delait (spelt wrong) seems to be a bright spot, other than that im officially bored of golf. Maybe cuz hockey playoffs are on. Thats all i've been doing is watching hockey and checking my pool even though im 12th out of 25 people. Anyone got any tips how to get back in the swing of things? (no pun intended). Go Nucks!! clubswinger

Havent posted in awhile. Just wanted to say i thought what Mike under pressuredid just showed his poise even though he wasnt feeling confindent in his swing. To watch what he did under pressure was some pretty amazing stuff. Well deserved, i think he showed he was the better player.. apparently he's got natonwide tour experience and it showed. Definetely made for the best Big Break finale ive seen. BTW Kevin might be the black sheep but i thought his play through out the BB tournament was consistent if not the most consistent, to those who say he didnt deserve to be there i say, yeah he's got a squierelly swing and hes a bit of a goof but he impressed me as much as Gipper and Tony. That one dude who kept losing it needs a golf psychologist asap. His names not worth remembering.

I caught that, if no one else did. All kidding aside this guy draws crowds like Tiger, hopefully he took Butch Harmons comments to heart and is making an honest effort to get his addictions under control. I was a huge fan, but i wont get my hopes up.
-
He's like Mike Weir or Stephen Ames, he can make a lot of birdies but he can also make alot of bogies. Id agree he's pretty streaky.
-
Then... Zach Johnson and Retief Goosen. Dark horse would be Mike Weir cause he's due for a win. And Its a bit of a long shot but if AK can hit it straight off the tee at Sawgrass, he'll make alot of birdies.
-
Is Brian joking? Guy is rediculous.
-
I think the stat was that he won the tournament without making a birdie putt over ten feet all week. If thats true then yeah, Id say thats some pretty damn good ball striking.
-
I'll go out on a limb and say Phil or Tiger
-
I will, no spin or power boost will make things a bit harder aswell.
-
With your handicap at 24 your still young IMO. Good luck, and hopefully you can make something good happen for yourself. Im in your area, If and what BCGA tourneys are you playing in? Im probably familiar with some of the course's/events.
-
I hope that doesnt happen, im one of those people and i dont know why more dont enjoy watching beautiful women playing golf (even though there may be a small amount on tour).. id rather watch LPGA golf over Champions, Nationwide and euro (minus the big events) anyday. What a downer.
-
Phil's my favorite of the 2, aside from being a Mike Weir fan, they're pretty much the reason i watch golf.. wash out a win here and there from other players, but they're both on a different level then any other PGA golfer IMO. Sure Phil can do a few things with a golf ball that tiger probably cant, but Tiger is just really good at everything almost all the time. There's no comparison.

Im hurting for a good golf game right now, i keep going back to Links 2003 for PC because its the only game that actually simulate's golf as being hard and not fun and arcadey. I just shot a 54 in Tiger Woods 09 (xbox360) on the hardest settings to win the tournament by 10 shots. I've been wanting a wii for awhile, i'll probably buy one after watching that video. Still wish microsoft would make a new Links game though.

Sundin and Salo are both injured but i believe they're both listed as day to day. If the Canucks can stay healthy i wouldnt count them out against the Wings or the Bruins. Osgood may be in playoff form but Luongo stood on his head for us against the Blues. I dont wanna jinx it but if they make it to the finals they'll give it a good run.
-
Because im smart and i can see the future
-
Nucks all the way, We'll be seeing you in the finals.
-
Nuck's all the way.. the sweep is completed tonight.
-
Not too familiar with the characters yet but i'll second that. Glad its come to Canada even though its miles from where im at. The guy that went home seemed like he was the least skilled. He even said "im here for one thing.. to grip it and rip it". Glad he went home and not the guy with the CPGA experience.
-
Being that he's over 50 i realize that.. I cant even remember the last champions tour event i watched but he's played 2 pga tour events in the shell houston and the masters and 1 Champions tour event this year? Im sure he'll be playing as much as he can on the PGAtour as he can. Merely pointing that out.

Norman took the time to sign with Taylormade and just got re-fitted for a new R9. All signs point to him being serious about playing golf and winning again, whether it be on the champions or PGA. I'll agree both have outside chances but its still definetely possible.
