  1. Did Steve shrink himself to fit in the bag?
  2. I can't stand the guy, probably because the media worshipped (no pun intendned) him when he was at Florida.
  3. Get a good swing coach and practice putting/short game alot.
  4. Your head and more importantly, your eyes don't even look close to being directly over the ball. Eyes over the ball is a key fundamental in putting. You should be able to address the ball and be able to drop a golf ball that is right in front of your eyes and hit the ball you are putting with.
  5. My favorite beer is the one I brew. I suppose I'm biased.
  6. That's what I was thinking.
  7. How much did you get them for if you don't mind me asking?
  8. ISM? Or his new management, Horizon or whatever?
  9. Hi there, I have some questions regarding the Taylormade RAC LT irons. I saw a set at a local pawn shop that appeared to be in good condition for $150. Is that a good deal? I was thinking about talking them down to $100. What is the difference between these two RAC LTs? They are both LTs, but the 1st one has the LT on the back of the clubface and the bottom one has the LT on the hozzle/neck (these are the ones at the pawn shop). What are the differences? Also, are rifle 6.0 shafts stiff shafts? Comparable to DG S300 shafts? I've searched and searched and cannot find the answers. Thanks.
  10. Trevor Immelman Ernie Els Adam Scott Anthony Kim Tiger Woods That's all I can think of at the moment, Trevor's, Adam's and Ernie's being my fav's.
  11. I definitely believe #3 is correct. So I need to check my weight shift?
  12. Yea I don't have any flexibility issues, I'm 21 so I'm still pretty limber. I just can't seem to rotate my hips/clear my hips, and instead push them towards the ball, thus causing my hands to be cramped at impact. Nothing dramatic, but on a down the line video, you can definitely notice the movement. Anyone else?
  13. I can't for the life of me maintain my spine angle throughout my swing. My hands get cramped at impact because my hips move towards the ball somewhat. I've tried a number of things such as: 1- Pretend you chin is resting on a shelf. 2- Pretend there is a ceiling just above your head. 3- I've had someone hold a shaft on top of my head as I hit balls on the range. 4- Try to keep your rear end in the same location The list goes on, I just can't remember some off the top of my head. Any advice, tips, drills, etc would be greatly appreciated. I think maintaining spine angle will help me hit consistent golf shots.
  14. I just bought a Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 and I love it! I also ordered a 56 and 60 degree oil can spin milled vokey wedge. It's nice knowing a guy that plays college golf and gets an awesome discount. I bought the wedges for $60 a piece!
  15. Thats a good question RX, I'd like to know aswell.
  16. Absolutely, I work at a golf course. Combine that with playing/practicing for free, and I have an awesome golfers tan.
  17. I'm 6' and I use a 35", it works for me. Odessey makes great putters ( I have the White Hot #6), but I just ordered the new Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2.
  18. Who is Tommy Gainey? Is he a member here or something?
  19. What is your avg. score? I shoot in the 80-84 range consistently, sometimes breaking 80 (best score being a 76). Just curious. Thanks!
  20. One of my favorite players. Absolutely love watching him play. He has a great name aswell.
  21. This man speaks the truth.
  22. Awesome, a guy with the same problem as me. Glad I'm not the only one. It is extremely tough for me to keep my spine angle maintained throughout the shot, I'm sure you would agree. Avid Golfer knows his stuff when it comes to the golf swing. I have had him analyze my videos on swing academy and it has helped me a ton. Although I am still struggling at maintaining spine angle, the other things he has told me, have worked out for the better. I just think being able to maintain my spine angle will take some time. Just stick with, I know it can be frustrating, and definately listen to what Avid Golfer has to say.
  23. Spine tilt is one of the main things I've been focusing on as of late. Like I said, my swing has changed quite a bit since these videos, but my spine angle is still changing. I'm playing tomarrow, so I will try an have a swing thought of keeping my right knee flexed the same throughout the swing and see if that helps any.
  24. I've been striking the ball better and my posture/setup has changed since these videos, but my spine angle is still changing I believe although I haven't taped my swing since.
