  2. Fortunately it was a "closest to the pin" hole so I won a few hundred bucks so I about broke even on the bar tab. It was definitely cool having 15 or so people all see it happen. I felt like a real pro lol.
  3. After nearly 20 years and approximately 15 bagillion strokes, I had my first hole-in-one Saturday. And I didn't even see it go in. 120 yd downhill over water, I hit gap wedge. It bounced about 7' short and rolled to the lip, where it stopped. It was a tournament so there were a lot of people on the tee box and everyone groaned when it stopped. I turned around in disgust, and of course that's when it dropped.
  4. Joanna Garcia is the main reason I hate Nick Swisher. I used to watch "Reba" because of her. "Reba."
  5. how many people do you know that lie about their score? Hmmm, how many people do I know that golf?
  6. Some friends and I did the same thing at the Borgata, but we quickly found out the ladies weren't "dancers," if you follow. Most of us made a beeline for the casino while a single friend stayed in the room.
  7. Shot 86 at Heidelberg Country Club. First round of the season for me, so I'm okay with it. A lot of straight pulls though leading to quite a few missed fairways and even an OB.
  8. If you want to try the Philly area, check out Scotland Run in Williamstown, NJ. http://www.scotlandrun.com/ It's about a 1/2 hour drive from Center City Philadelphia. On the way back into the city you can stop at any of the gentleman's clubs on Essington Ave or Delaware Ave. The gentleman's clubs are actually more my area of expertise.
  9. Katie Aselton from "The League." She's just awesome.
  10. There's no way I can pick just one favorite beer. On the course, when I plan on having more than a "couple," I stick to something light and easy like Miller Lite. But in the clubhouse I love IPA's and Imperial stouts. Dogfishead has yet to make a beer that I disliked.
  11. I think I definitely fall into the category of golfers whose gear is far better than their game lol. I like to look sharp. Clothes that fit. Logo on the hat only.
  12. Exactly. In all reality, he's probably total ass. But there's nobody else I'd rather watch play.
  13. Basically hit a 5 iron fat on a 192 yd par 3, leaving me just short of an enormous sand trap that extended all the way to the green. The pin was set just 4 feet in, with the trap directly between me and the flag. Opened the face of my 58 deg and hit a high flop (a shot that I've struggled with) that landed about a foot from the cup, took one hop and right in.
  14. I just recently started having a cigar or two during my rounds. What are some of your favorite inexpensive cigars ($7-$15)?
  15. Moorland, at Legends in Myrtle Beach, SC. Played the blues, walked away with a 92, and was damn proud of it.
  16. Heidelberg Country Club, Bernville, Pa Blues 6125 yds 69.5 128 Greens are a nightmare. Like glass.
  17. Absolutely. I have a friend who argues that Courtney Cox is better looking. NOW. These debates usually end with us not speaking for a few days.
  18. I'm so glad to see all the Jennifer Aniston pics. Frankly, I'm disappointed in myself that I didn't mention her sooner. There was an entire season of "Friends" when her nipples were hard in nearly every shot. That was a really good year. And "Horrible Bosses" is soft core porn.
  19. "Always Sunny" and "Workaholics." I'm 33 going on 12.
  20. I used to think the same about Faldo. But the more I hear him talk about things the more I realize that he actually is a pretty sharp guy. I think his accent kinda makes him sound a little more pompous that he really may be. I find Johnny Miller to be much more arrogant.
  21. I used to have a bit of a temper. And then two things happened. 1. I finally realized that I am not a professional. I can't compare myself and judge my performance against the pros. I'm going to miss greens. I'm going to chunk one every once in a while. 2. This is the most important. I was fortunate to be playing a round in Dublin, Ireland. It was a typical Irish morning, 45 degrees with 30 mph winds. While hitting my approach onto the 2nd green, I realized that there was a rainbow in the distance basically directly over the city of Dublin. I thought to myself "look at where you are and what you're doing. What could you possibly be mad about?" So now I try to think about that every time my blood pressure starts to rise on the course. Look at where you are and what you're doing. It could be a lot worse.
  22. Used PingZings up until a couple years ago and the only reason I switched is because they were custom fit to my grandfather who is much shorter than I am. Great clubs.
  23. I really want Tiger to be "Tiger" again, but it's probably not gonna happen.
  24. '12 Buick Regal GS 6-speed manual
