  2. I currently play my 3 wood at the D-1 setting
  3. titleist 910h used, corbra baffler, mizuno, nike vr pro used, cleveland mashie. adams v4.
  4. I have a 107 swing speed and use a 9.5 and a stiff Project X 6.0 shaft. Shaft has a lot to do with launch angle, sometimes.
  5. For me the only people that have chances this year at winning the masters is... Tiger or Sneds.. maybe Kuchar or Mickelson
  6. Well said. I do the exact same. But I do find playing by myself isnt "as fun" because when I play with others I like the competitive feeling and then golf becomes a "game".
  7. Par 3 180 yards. Wind in my face about 15 mph. Hit ball dead straight and hard and lands softly 8 feet out. Shot a 78.
  8. Agreed! Nxt and the V2 are very comparable but I like to hit the ball straight and long and the wedge spin is similar to the nxt if hit right. V2 is a steal! I found them for $13 buck a dozen at walmart.
  9. my 56 mizuno weighs alot more than my 60 mizuno.
  10. I would ask your local golf pro and see if he has the tools to do it. Dont let the shaft flex get in your head. If you cant afford it than you cant afford new shafts. Save Save Save.
  11. Gamer v2 are great and I suspect that the tours with that urethane cover will make your handicap go down a few strokes with the added wedge spin and feel. I use the v2's to this day and also the NXT but as price goes..... there is nothing better
  12. TIGER, Luke Donald, Phil, Keegan, Nick Watney, Sneds!
  13. The question is..... how much money do you have. You can find a nice set of irons on ebay for about $100 and with nice shafts. Your young and strong so a stiff shaft could be good if you not consistently flying your irons straight. There are so many variables with how a shaft effects your game, you can have stiff shaft and it wont be as consistent as your regular flex shaft. Also how many times do you play a month? I wouldnt go buy new shafts if you playing 2 times a month. Also how long have you played golf seriously?
  14. Keep your set pw. I doubt you will hit the vokey as far as the i20 in the same degree
  15. All im saying is that tiger uses forged irons. There has to be a reason why he does.
  16. the thing is though.... you don't see Tiger playing cast clubs. Yeah Ping is great, phenomenal, but Tiger woods has the stats.
  17. As I stated above ping makes great cast clubs. Ping has casting down to a science.
  18. Casting clubs creates air pockets in the metal, forging clubs its impossible to create air pockets because they are made from a sold piece of steel. Casting has become better within the last 10 years but still cannot guarantee anything. Air pockets cause inconsistency.
  19. Give Tiger the same exact nike vr pro irons and cast them and see what he thinks! Also Tigers wedges are forged. You cant buy his wedges in forged only cast.
  20. To this day i still use a Titleist 905r and its dead straight and hits 15 yards farther than the new Titleist 913.
  21. LIKED RUNNER UP COMMENTS Drivers Titleist Callaway Titleist just produces what works the best for the long ball, Callaway is finally offering the adjustabilty and performance is amazing Fairway Woods Titleist Ping Both make very good clubs that are all about performance Hybrids Adams Ping The profile and shape make these company's stand apart from others Irons Mizuno Titleist Mizuno is the best quality for what your paying Wedge Mizuno Titleist Vokeys are great but grain flow forging is the cats meow Putters Ping Odyssey Ping has the most copied putter ever Golf Balls Titleist Gamer V2 Titleist for sure but the top flight is the best performance/price ball you can buy Golf Bags Sun Mtn/ Titleist Nike Great weight and durability Golf Shoes Adidas Nike Best walking shoes and warranty are Adidas
  22. Any forged club, especially wedges just have a distinctive feel between a cast club, forged feel soft. But ping is cast and those are great clubs. Yea and having taped up wedges probably isn't gong to feel or test right but that being said Nike irons are not even in the same league as Mizuno. Dont quote me but Mizuno quality is far superior.
  23. I have had a great experience with lostgolfballs and when you pay for the no logo option i feel your getting better quality balls because the logo'd balls usually are not that great condition.
