Hello Canucks, Can anyone tell me if Havana Club Rum is sold in your part of Canada. Taking a survey....... I thought it might be easier to go to Canada for a couple of Cuba Libre's or some Mojito's than trying to book a flight to Havana and bring some back.

I like the course, just wish it was kept in better shape. Too bad about the clubhouse, it was beautiful. I liked the little 9 hole course on the other side. Cut from the same earth that gave us Oak Meadows.

Voted no. But then again, never thought I buy an iPhone either. I'd have to see what it could actually do for me.

Thanks for all the responses, I was hoping and expecting to get varied feedback. Based on my loose counts the Wii seems to be the favorite, mostly for family or group play. I have a mixed outlook on the PS3 if backwards compatability is an issue. If money was no object I like the one response that suggested all three. I also have a very bad golf habit, so that isn't practical at the moment :) Think I am leaning for the Wii as my first choice

In the market to upgrade my PS 2. I know I am way behind :) I am a little torn. I like the Wii and the interavtive more gameplay I like the PS 3 because my older games will play, I think. Will PS2 controllers work on PS3 ? Intersted in Tiger Woods for the Wii. Any one have this or a link to an older post, would like some feedback. Also looking at newer Guitar Hero titles. I hear Sony just anounced a motion controller due in spring 2010, so that's a thought.

Finally got a chance to play this one this past weekend. All I can say is wow ! I don't think I have ever seen a course like this. The greens, bunkering, mounding were amazing. When you consider the piece of land to begin with and what it was transformed into and the time perion in which it was accomplished, it is a great classic course. If you are any where near, make the drive it's worth it. For some pictures and more reading about the design, check this link. I don't the pictures even convey the full feel. http://golfclubatlas.com/courses-by-...-course-wi-usa http://lawsonia.com/lawsonia.com/index.html

I'd like to see you collection. I've got a case that holds about 60 and it's full already. I don't think I want all my walls filled with golf balls, 'cause that's where it seems to be heading. But I need something else to hold the rest. Any ideas ?

Been wanting to play Lawsonia link course myself, but it is probably too far out of the way for you. About an hour or so drive. http://lawsonia.com/lawsonia.com/index.html http://www.golfwisconsin.com/golfcou...fm?recordid=67 The Links ranked #55 “Classic” course in the Nation by GolfWeek Magazine GolfWeek ranks the Links Course as the #3 overall course in Wisconsin Not quite in the Dells ,but nearby http://www.devilsheadresort.com/ Here's a link for some of the courses http://www.golfwisconsin.com/maps/de...n.cfm?areaid=2

I think we should hunt them all down and eat the members of PETA. Tastes like chicken I bet. Get life. Some people care more about animals than people. Was looking to get a dog and started looking for an animal shelter or pet rescue. You have to fill out forms, they want to do back ground check, visit your house. To get a dog ? I told a friend of mine if there was a homeless dog and a homeless man, some of these people would step over the homeless man to get to the dog ! I like animals, but those people are idiots.

Seeing how your seeking advise on this site, would Myrtle Beach be too much to suggest ? Based on previous posts a condo with a kitchen too. I like the way you are thinking :) You have to let us know where you go. Come back and post a year from now and tell us how everything is working...

Just hooked up between TV and PC and watched a movie. It seemed good enough Using an old product from this company. http://www.aitech.com/products/products.htm

I bought one of these a while back. I don't recall the picture being that good. I'll hook it up and try it again and leave another post. I want to do the same thing. One thing I did was pick up 19" Toshiba LCD TV with a PC input [std 15 pin monitor connection. I can watch regular and HD TV or use it a monitor for my PC. It' still only a 19", but it's OK for watching them at my desk.

I've got a Compaq iPaq from about 2002. I it is running Windows mobile 5. I have MS Streets 2005 running on it.You can export maps [pocket streets] and POI into it from your PC. I haven't used in a while, too many gadgets to be carrying. I don't know what the max limit of POI is off hand. It maybe liited to the size of the SD card in the PDA Of course you can store contacts with phone and address info. What about a Garmin Nuvi ? That would probably have all the GC in there. There is a Compact Flash GPS that works on the PDA's with Pockets Streets. Look for the Dell Axiom [ no longer in production, check Ebay] as it had built in CF and SD slots. My Compaq required an expansion adapter to get the CF cards to work, gets to be too bulky, but still portable. A friend of mine demo'd a working Pockets Streets w/ GPS to me a while back, it was cool at the time. iPhone does most of this, but has it's limitations. PDA seem to be coming extict these days. Most people seem to be opting for a smart phone According to Laptop World, pocket streets is not available with current MS Streets. Might have to look for an older version to get it. I know it is on 2004 and 2005 vers. http://www.microsoft.com/thailand/wi...reets/faq.mspx http://www.laptopgpsworld.com/micros...ps-2008-a.html

I think the timing of it had more to do with his desire to sell the vacant senator position. I think it will be interesting to see how the relationship of Tony Rezko ties in with him and Obama. I think Obama has enough people around him to stay insulated. What amazes me is how the Chicago machine has ran for all of these years without a salvo from the fed hitting the top. Talk about Teflon ! Words of wisdom - Never trust a democrat from Chicago

Read here for that answer. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaska_Permanent_Fund I am trying to figure out a way to be a citizen and collect this without having to live there. :) Not to derail the thread but... What's golfing like in Alaska ? Play by 'winter rules' much ?
