  1. I would say you only need two woods/hybrids, i would recomend a 4 Wood and a 2 hybrid then get a Gap or Lob wedge 52*/60* respectively
  2. Bought an OGIO Grom Nike Shoes and 24 Hx Tour 56's Big Dent in my savings
  3. My golf magazine came yesterday with a huge ball test, it said the tour deep was the most disappointing premium ball on the test, i have stayed away from it. The stats show that it was 10 yards shorter of the driver than pro v1 and 15 to the v1x yet the pro v's(1/1x) have more greenside spin. I was going to buy some but have steered clear
  4. Thought i'd narrowed it down! what about Wilson TX4, they are a bit cheaper.
  5. Do hogan generally make good balls? you dont get them here (in england)
  6. I am now having to buy new balls, as i have lost all of mine. I usually try to play Pro V1x's but sont really think they suit my game, i am a longish hitter, but my weakness is around the greens, i think i have narrowed it down to, More Pro V1x's Hogan Tour Deep Srixon Z-UR Nike One's of some sort. What would you recomend?
  7. What about mizuno, MP60 or 57's, nike forged blades may be too hard to hit, if your off 18, recomend a small forged cavity
  8. 16 2.5 8
  9. I would like, Paul Casey, or Adam Scott
  10. My problem is similar, my hips go to early, (or is this what you meant) i would also like to hear of drills.
  11. Play a Pro v1x, spins less, so get more roll on driver and lower ball flight
  12. i use 53* and 58*, cleveland CG12s
  13. This is getting a bit out of controll, i know there should be a handicap system, but how would you feel if you turned up for your Club match and were playing against two 28 handicappers, giving them 19 shots each, and more often than not one of them manages to get a par or bogey with a shot.
  14. For Me - 1. Luke Donald 2. Michelle Wie 3. Rich Beem Worst With Majors- 1.Ben Curtis 2. Todd Hamilton Underated 1. Paul Casey
  15. i dont mind giving a few strokes away, but i dont like giving both people 19 shots each.
  16. I play at the Ridge in Maidstone.
  17. Blades are awesome, mizuno preferable, considering swapping my MP-60's for 67's, and i LOVE my MP-60's
  18. late Evening sunday night, No-one around with a couple of friends and course pro, 4 buggies and some AWESOME cross country holes
  19. depends, what im going for, but i have been known to Bomb a few 300'rs. Yes i know people will think i'm lying but i actually can, i'm 16 strong with a nice wide swing.
  20. i was saying that to the post before you, but when i had that handicap i wasn't playing for the junior team.
  21. Its actually "on Tour its not how your mark your ball, its how you mark your titleist" GOD GET IT RIGHT. lol
  22. Well the idea of a handicap, is so that people of all abilities can compete against each other. i was complaining about when the lower handicaped people are at a disadvantage.
  23. i wasnt quite sure what you meant, by your distances you could benefit with graphite shafts but you should ask your pro giving you a lesson as it is hard to tell without seeing you. The shafts will cost sooo much to change, that you could probably buy an older set of graphite shafted irons for the money( callaway X12 or something)
  24. ye happend last week in the kent schools competition, right in contention, 16th Hole, Lake short OB long(of Green), first flew OB(not sure how, must have been a gust of wind or something) second, chocked down on same club, DUNCH into lake in front of me. All this after smoking my drive, really wanted to give the tree beside me a good whack!
  25. also to be honest, $12-$13 irons are not going to be beneficial to your game, not going to have any technology or forgiveness for that price. for the speed, can you hit it a descent distance?
