  6. I know there is a review on thesandtrap.com (not the forum) about the putter with a lot of good information.
  7. can anybody answer my questions? Im really looking for some help
  8. first I would like to say (before everyone points it out) I know there is a review on the website for this putter, but I have further questions. First, is the putter fully offset? I dislike putters that have a half offset. Second, the review mentions a clicking sound. how distracting is it? is it the same sound that the m6.4k etc. putters make (essentially putters with the same copper face) or is it louder? Also any body elses general opinions on the putter, like dislikes? thanks, mike
  9. i use a 35" but would prefer to have 36". im 6'4" and putt with an upright stance. im thinking of dabbling with a long putter as well.
  10. ive been struggling with this as well. you may be gripping to firmly which is my problem. try to grip the club a little softer and see if that helps.
  11. when I first started it was a 2 iron. but as I have gotten better it has changed. recently it has been my 4 iron, but it will soon be a 5. i carried a 4 iron 210 yds on saturday and it rolled out to about 220. can anybody help me to get my long irons to not roll so far? I hit the greens and it rolls through.
  12. i have an ofer golf driver that i can carry about 230. its fun to hit every once in a while.
  13. I would tell his boss about his behavior. not only was he breaking the rules but he was breaking the law on the course. Im sure the higher ups would not be to pleased with his behavior.
  14. welches fruit snacks and grand theft auto 4.
  15. I used to live in CA and ever since I moved I have constant cravings for in-n-out burger and western bacon cheese burgers from carls jr. I havent lived there in 6 years and I still get cravings once every couple of weeks.
  16. Ive seen the show and it is very entertaining. And I dont even consider myself a car buff...
  17. I have a friend that would probably like to own a system like thag. he loses clubs like crazy.
  18. A review would be great. I saw the obviously biased adds running on t.v. and would love to see the review.
  19. Add another for tommy armour. I love my 845's and dont plan on selling them anytime soon. I have also used one of their drivers and it is the most consistant off the tee for me. Also,Wilson isnt as highly regarded as other companies but they make great equipment. I still use a harmonized sand wedge and I love it.
  20. I found a callaway 4 heavenwood at the driving range and when I tried to turn it in the proshop wouldnt take it. they said that they didnt have a lost and found and just told me to take it. I gave them my name and number to call if anybody came looking, but the call still hasnt happened 3 monthes later. I still havent used it though, I dont even want it really, i knew if i just put it back on the range either somebody would be put in the same situation as me or would just take it. I really do feel bad about taking the club. I also found a wallet that had a lot of cash in it one time. I didnt even hesitate to trackdown the marshall on the course and turn it in.
  21. they arent always called pitching wedges. I have a 10 iron. I agree though, I think it should be called a 10 iron, but what do I know?
  22. I own 7 but have gotten good deals on all of them (except one which I will explain): Collectors: Macgregor Response MI 700. Its the putter that won the '86 masters. Cost me $10 at a pawn shop. Macgregor Response MI 615. Cost me $3 at a swap meet. Ones Ive used: Old bulls eye. cost $5 Beauwood all-in. I currently play with this one. cost me $.75 at a thrift store. Zebra mallet. I can not hit this putter straight to save my life. cost $9shipped off ebay Goolie golf mallet. its actually really nice but do not like the half offset that it has. cost $15 used. And finally a knock off SC futura. I got taken advantage of by a proshop employee when I was a newbie and spent $50 on this hunk of crap. I regret the purchase everytime I lay eyes on the stupid thing.
  23. I found a wilson staff tour bag from the 70's at a thrift store. its all leather and in perfect condition. its black leather with gold piping, thread and lettering. it also had about 50 golf balls and a whole bunch of tees. I use the tees and the balls (the balls for practicing in the backyard). all in all it cost me 3 bucks. I could probably turn a nice profit by selling it on ebay. I also bought a beauwood "All in" putter just to mess aroung with but I like it so much that it made it in my bag. It cost me $.75.
  24. What is your favorite sport other than golf? My two favorite sports other than golf are Basketball and Lacrosse. I have played basketball for the vast majority of my life and enjoy just playing pickup games with my friends. I love lacrosse and play at a very competitive level and love everything about the sport. I didn't make this a poll or anything because there are a wide variety of sports to choose from and I knew I would forget to list some. Lets here it...
  25. I love walking. I enjoy feeling like I have worked out after playing sports, thats why I like to walk. As a bonus its cheaper too, ehich is always a bonus. I have to get a new bag though, my wal-mart standbag is so much heavier when compared to my friends name brand bags.
