  1. You don't like wearing sunscreen?
  2. Anaheim is big and tough with a lot of depth. Calgary is pretty young and inexperienced. But I'm still pulling for them.
  3. Those things don't exist in golf. :-P
  4. What I don't like about this format is this: Victor Dubuisson is eliminated from moving on to the next round. What is the point of him even trying against Dustin Johnson tomorrow? If I liked the guy, I'd be giving him 20 foot putts on every hole.
  5. I'm rooting for Calgary. Hoping they beat Anaheim but it's probably not going to happen. :-( I would be fine with either the Caps or Canadiens coming out of the East.
  6. Wow. Tampa should not have won that game. They were outshot, out-chanced, and outplayed. Unfortunate for Detroit.
  7. I think Nurse is ready to play in the NHL. In fact, I think he may win rookie of the year next season. Wild prediction, but I think he's that good.
  8. Kind of veering off topic here but I'm watching the Erie vs. Sault Ste Marie game right now. McDavid is insane. Nurse is a really solid defenceman (fun fact: I played Nurse 4 years ago when he played in the GTHL). If the Oilers are close to last place again next year they should burn down the arena.
  9. Kronwall suspended one game. Honestly I didn't think they would, after not suspending Subban for the slash on Stone and Byfuglien for this idiotic play. Also, this hit didn't even get a hearing. Was pretty similar to Kronwall's.
  10. If playoff hockey was called using the rules implemented in 2005, there would be way too many penalties. And guess what? Instead of people complaining about the lack of calls, they'll complain about the referees calling everything. Hell, I already hear people complaining about too many penalties in the playoffs. There is no winning formula for the referees. They just have to call as fair a game as they can.
  11. I think there's a problem, I just don't see a way to fix it without refereeing from the press boxes. They have selected the most experienced, highly skilled referees in the sport. It is a very difficult job. I don't know if you have watched any high school hockey, or adult league. If they placed one of those referees in an NHL game, he would be shot before leaving the arena.
  12. He had his head down while retrieving the puck. You can't have your head down in the NHL. Scott Stevens was known for penalizing players with their head down (most of these checks are now illegal). From your bird's eye view they miss blatantly obvious stuff right by the puck. I'm not sure if I agree with this, but there are reasons why this might be the case: The Olympics plays on a larger ice surface. It is easier for the referees to get in their proper positions and see more of the plays. There are not many Domi's and Clutterbuck's in the Olympics, so it is generally cleaner than the NHL. The best-of-the-best referees are selected to officiate the Olympics. You can't have the top referees every single NHL game every night. See point 3 above.
  13. People don't realize how hard it is to officiate a hockey game, let alone an NHL game. It's unbelievably fast and you have to be in perfect positioning for 60 minutes. I have tremendous respect for NHL officials. If the NHL wants to have perfect officiating, they'll have to do it from the press boxes with 10 men and 12 instant-replay monitors. Also, that Kronwall hit may not get a suspension. Kucherov put himself in a terrible position, and the main point of contact was not the head. http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?id=464949&catid;=995
  14. Wear white pants. They'll block out the cold breeze but won't be too hot.
  15. He recently won 2 European Tour events and an Asian Tour event.
  16. The app definitely has some accuracy issues. I just laser'd a par 3@145 yds. Hit it pin high and said I hit it 101 yds.
  17. That is the strangest hole-in-one prize I have ever seen.
  18. I'm a little surprised that Winnipeg got swept. Anaheim might be the team to beat this year.
  19. I can't really complain because pretty much all courses are now open here, but these next couple of weeks are looking really shitty.
  20. I'm a digger. Was told as a kid to hit down on the ball. I think I took that advice too literally. My divots are similar to Sergio Garcia's.
  21. I would certainly give it a try. I don't think you'll be able to get into the 150mph range with 3 inches more shaft though.
  22. Hey! So you're not trolling! Not the 140-150mph swing speed that was originally claimed but still impressive nonetheless. Was expecting you to be either a troll or clueless. As for swing advice, there are plenty of members here that can help you. Start a my swing thread and contribute more on the forums and you'll get some good advice.
  23. If this is the video you will be honored as the greatest troll in SandTrap history:
  24. Has anybody tried using the app yet? Is it accurate?
  25. Just got fitted last year. Won't be replacing it for at least 5-10 years.
