  1. Exactly. Are you planning on becoming a member, or are you just asking where you should play most, supposedly making it your "home course"? If you're not going to become a member, I also suggest playing every course on you're list and finding out which you enjoy playing most...
  2. Not as of now, but I'll give you the link ... They don't have as much of a glare as those cleveland's do... Miura's Clubs (BTW, I've got their retro wedges)...
  3. If its forged by Miura, then it's worth every penny paid. Beautiful. I've got miura forged wedges as well, and I'm speachless. I have no regrets at all , they're definitely one of the best things I've ever bought, period.
  4. As of now, I use a ball marker from Pinehurst. It has the putterboy logo on it, I have all different kinds of ball markers from many golf clubs. This has been my favorite for a long time...
  5. As of now, I've got no hybrid in the bag. Although, I've got to admit I'm extremely tempted to get one. I've tried hybrids before, and I thought I would get over them, but they've seem to have stayed in mind. I've got no problems with long irons, so there's no need for a change. I am however, thinking of changing the 5 wood for a hybrid. It's been a thought for quite some time now, although I'm still not quite positive about it ...
  6. I just got a pair of Footjoy Classic tour's , so that brings me up to 3 pairs...
  7. Well, even though I have no idea how you play, I can still give you some suggestions since you've included a price range. Check these out @ www.golfsmith.com . I'm sure that'd help...
  8. Yep. That's where I'm at right now. I'm guessing it's one of the Cross Eight Tour balls? DJYoshi, if you find it there, please notify what ball model it is , thanks...
  9. Nice, can't wait to read up on that ...
  10. First off, specs? Trajectory, swing speed, etc? I have no clue what your specs are regarding your swing and shots, so I can't really give you an idea of what shaft to get. So, I recommend you should go get fitted for either steel or graphite shafts, and see what feels best as well. I really can't help you unless you give me details...
  11. I've played a few hybrids in my life, and thought they were alright. However, I don't use them as of now, since I'm still making use of the 5 wood. Hybrids are tempting, but I'm just not sure if I should switch my 5W for a hybrid. The longest iron I've got in the bag is a 3 iron, and I'm not planning on switching that with anything. Hybrids just haven't convinced me yet, is it more useful to switch the 5W for a hybrid ...I'm not quite sure as of yet.
  12. Two packs of Footjoy Weathersof's in black...
  13. Saw the match as well, and it was great to watch. What they did was pure class...
  14. I'll show up approximately 30 minutes to an hour earlier. If I feel I need to, I'll grab a small bucket and hit a few balls. However, I'll always stretch around 15 minutes before tee time...
  15. I use an original MacKenzie Walker, made out of fine leather...
  16. Ahh yes, this happens quite a few times when I'm playing with higher handicappers. I try not let it bother me, but it still happens at times. I usually thank them and move on, but at times, I'll tell them it still wasn't as good as I'd want it to be. Yeah, that's pretty much the reason why some of us are annoyed when some say those things. They just have a different point of view. What we think is a good shot and what they think is a good shot are two different "good shots"...
  17. Yeah, like what the others' said, 1/5 and other different fractions until you reach 10/20...
  18. Yeah, that's what I'd suggest too, hit those golf balls, why wait? If you think you're intimidated by them, trade them for other useful golf balls...
  19. 1) 3 iron... 2) No, not anymore... 3) I don't use hybrids, so I guess I'll just stick with my 3 and 5 wood... I may start using hybrids in the near future , but not for now...
  20. I think the best thing to do is to get fitted for the clubs YOU want, whether it'd be Titleist, Mizuno, Bridgestone, Callaway, or Nike. However, from the choices you've put together, I'd say try the AP2's or MP-57's for the playability and feel combined with the forgiveness they provide. If you want to know more about them, read all the stuff The Sandtrap has on those clubs...
  21. I like keeping my bag organized, so I keep my each of my clubs in a certain place , but nothing too special...
  22. Hmm, this got me thinking... That post got me to change the way I think of ESC, it does serves for the better of tournament play. It's just I never even read this post until after I posted my previous thoughts, I guess I never really understood ESC to that extent, thanks for the post ... I guess I'll be doing that pretty much from now on as well...
  23. Yeah no problem, that was my fault... "Even though *I am* sandbagging"...
  24. First off, I don't play in a lot of net tournaments, which is one reason why I'm not fond of ESC. Also, even though I am sand bagging, it's just something I don't prefer using, since I'd rather put my actual score down, which is my preference. Yes I was aware that RCGA has different rules, though I'm not familiar what the differences are between the RCGA rules and USGA rules...
  25. It really depends on the situation I'm in. Usually, I'd go for a LW or SW unless I really need to get the ball rolling. I'll then use a club with the lower loft, in which I'd choose a 9I or PW...
