  2. The only problem with that is there have been ice core samples that show the Earth is warming quicker than ever before. They know this because they can measure the amount of CO2 in the ice and compare how it has changed over time and compare it to today. Conservatives need to stop burying their heads in the sand and stop acting like caring about the environment is a political issue.
  3. I do it. To be able to go down in history as the first human to set foot on another planet would be special. Sure, it would be a one-way ticket and a certain death sentence but Id take a short life of signifigance over 100 years of nothing.
  4. The only problem with Trump's comments about immigrants though is that hes just wrong and he wont admit it. It kind of makes me laugh when people say Trump speaks the truth because theres been numerous studies that show immigrants are actually much less likely to commit a crime than anyone else is. Hey, why let the facts get in the way though, right? With his McCain comment you have to wonder what he was thinking. Id love to see Trump's service record or what hes ever done for veterans. A couple of my Facebook friends have shared some of Trump's posts since his original McCain comment and its pretty disgusting. Trump really needs to think before he speaks and learn to admit when hes wrong.
  5. I agree 100%. Ive got quite a few coworkers who are pretty right-wing and they love Trump. I wouldnt contend though, that they are a little racist and very anti-immigrant and believe in some right-wing agenda that illegal immigrants are taking all these jobs away from honest, hard-working Americans. Trump plays into their fears and their beliefs that immigrants are bad and we need to purify American, in a way. The problem with Trump though, is that other than ranting about immigrants, he really has no real ideas. Also, just like with how it went with Romney; he has completely alienated Latino voters and whether he likes it or not, he needs those voters if he is going to win.
  6. Agree 100%. Mankind is going to have a simple choice: grow up, wake up and take better care of our world or face the end of civilization as we know it and possible extinction.
  7. Its pretty obvious that the plant is warming. Just look at shrinking glaciers and ice sheets in the arctic and antarctic and melting permafrost in Alaska and Greenland. Not to mention warming and rising ocean levels. Its not even a debate. I always have to kind of laugh when people scoff at the idea of global warming when the weather has been cooler where they live. Thats weather, not climate. What makes it even worse is that its become a political issue, with sources like Fox News selling lies and pseudo science, claiming things like volcanic eruptions cause much more greenhouse gas pollution than man does. Not true and, infact, downright stupid.
  8. Id have to go Nattie simply beause shes more, "real". If you look up pictures of Holly when she was playing college golf, she looks completely different. It makes you wonder what on her is real and what is fake. Not to mention the fact that Holly annoys me because she seems like shes trying to be a serious sports journalist yet even she has to realize that shes little more than eye candy and that most people just want her to smile and look pretty, not give her opinion.
  9. For me, its Vokey. Clevelands are nice but I find them to be too head heavy. Vokeys seem to have a much nicer balance, for me.
  10. Of the 4, I could most easily give up pizza.
  11. The only problem is that people like the Donald are one of these country's problems. Fortunately, times are changing and society is slowing but surely weeding out the thinking of the past. The ACA got upheld, marriage equality got passed and the Confederate flag got taken down. These are all signs that society is continuing to move forward and theres hope for the future.
  12. I always grip down when I need to take a little distance off of a shot. It reduces your leverage and is much easier and more consistent than trying to slow your swing down.
  13. Not a surprise. Trump has every right to his opinion but theres consequences when youre in the public eye and share your opinion.
  14. Theyre a very good ball at a lower price point. I used to play the old DT Carry and have found a few DT Solos on the course and theyre a great ball if you are looking for something at a lower price point.
  15. Miller > Budweiser. Bud Light is nothing more than a cheap copy of Miller Light.
  16. Thats whats taught in schools, so Id assume its true. Lee was asked to command the Union army and he said said something like how hed turn his back on the Union before hed turn his back on Virginia. Its offensive for the same reason the flag is offensive: he was a traitor. To be fair though, he was kind of between a rock and a hard place. Do you turn your back on your country or turn your back on your home state and all of your friends and family? Tough call and I cant say that I wouldnt do the same thing he did. Even still, he was a traitor.
  17. For me, it starts with moving my hands back, dragging the handle, trying to keep the clubface close to the ground as long as possible, like theres a board behind the clubhead that Im trying to push back.
  18. She didnt delete her dog's Instagram account though.
  19. Who wants to watch their signifigant other suck at golf? If you want to enjoy time on the golf course with your SO, thats great. Get a set of clubs and play yourself, dont just sit there like a bored housewife who has nothing better to do. Sorry but I think if you cant think of anything better to do together than to watch your husband play golf, perhaps you need to find something more constructive to do with your life. Maybe Im just totally being a hater but it just seems so lame to me.
  20. Thats debatable. The problem with people who arent career politicians is that they dont have the connections and they dont understand how things work in Washington. A lot of it is the connections and friends that you have, the people you have cultivated relationships with and knowing how to work out deals and how to get people to do what you want so that you will help them out with what they want at some point in the future. Trump is used to telling people what to do and not having anyone challenge him, thats not how Washington works and thats why businessmen typically fail when they try to get into politics.
  21. As much as Id love to see him get nominated and have Clinton shred him in the debates (you think he doesnt have skeletons in his closet that they wouldnt find?), its never going to happen. Its going to be Jeb Bush vs Clinton and Clinton will win...easily.
  22. I say good for Tiger if its true. Id nail her too if I had the chance.
  23. Id still play the Deere if I were him. It seems like its something thats important to him and that he committed to it.
  24. Agree that the best way to handle it is to call the clubhouse and alert them to it. Theres nothing to say that they wont start acing up again once the range is out of sight and its not as if the ranger is going to shadow them the entire round to make sure they are behaving but you never know and if the ranger does catch them acting up, they might be asked to leave. Unforunately, some people are just idiots and theres not much you can do about that.
  25. I dont know, Chambers Bay has sooooo many issues and its kind of like we're having 2 British Opens this year.
