  1. Well I don't know but if your 3 wood is a 13 degree(3+3) that would explain so much roll there or a high kick shaft of course. For you driver if all you want is more roll you could flatten your swing a little, and play a stronger grip. Doing this will cause you to hit a draw and obviously it will roll out more.
  2. Hey I had the same problem with "jumping at the ball". Well what helped me was just widening my stance, and making sure every time I line up my weight is on the insides of my feet. For whatever reason with the weight on the inside I stopped jumping. Hope that helps and good luck
  3. I know I couldn't hit my hybrid to save my life for a little while when I first got it. It just took some getting used to, and a lot of hitting on the range. I don't use it anymore but I have room for one more club so I think I'm going back.
  4. I tried the s9-1 on the range the other day. I can't compare it to the D2 or D3 because I have never hit either of those. The s9 felt great. It had an x-stiff shaft which was too much for me, but I really liked the feel of the head. I think it's meant for a low handicapper with a fast clubhead speed. It's very easy to work (draw/fade), but also seemed easy for me to slice.
  5. hahahahaha Nice!!! I can't handle the 10 pound driver but I use "the beast" momentus driver ha.
  6. I just started reading the book yesterday, so I'm barely on page 82, but so far so good. Parent puts in these little scenario's for example that you need to "empty your cup". If a cup(or mind) is full no tea(or info) can get in. This definetly helps when people are giving advice. Well I would recommend the audio book version because I don't like to read, but this sounds like it could help I'll keep you guys updated as I get further in the book.
  7. John Daly. John Daly. John Daly. It doesn't bother him one bit. No offense Mr. Daly, but he obviously is the trimmest guy on tour. Just my .02
  8. My workout plan is very simple, but I supposedly have a "high metabolism" so I don't really have any fat or anything to turn into muscle. I do as many sit ups as i can until it burns bad. I do that three sets every morning. I do 5 sets up 30 push ups. But I think my number one workout is my Momentus driver. I bought the 350 "the beast" weighted driver. If nothing else I swing this club everyday. I have gained a few yards, but mostly control.
  9. I guess I'm just plain dumb, but I see very little difference between the two. Plus in my opinion the back swing is not 100 percent important(i.e. Furyk). I think all people should focus on is contact. But I am curious on what the difference is so please fill me in somebody.
  10. The simplest thing for me to remember is when I wear a glove(i don't know if you do) on my left hand(i'm right handed) at impact the nike sign should be facing the target. If it points up, then there is your high shot/ slice. Hope this helps, and good luck with it.
  11. I noticed the same thing on myself. I'm right handed, and my left forearm as well as bicep is bigger than my left. I'm not sure if it affects the swing, but now I'm curious. Bump For some really technical answer ha.
  12. Well I'm in class so I can't post pics of my bag, but Callaway X Forged are some of the sexiest clubs ever. Could you imagine a girl that would stick with you as long as irons, looked just as sexy, haha. Someday...
  13. I'm with the other guys I have the Nike Sasquatch bag, and I ride alot. I do the same thing just turn it side ways ha. If you are ever in the market for a new bag I suggest this one I love it.
  14. Okay here are my stats from today I played 9 holes. This was a good day for me so it's not a very good example, but I do real good then I'll have one of those "blow up" holes. My putting and chipping was dead on today. Hole # Par Score Putts In the sand 1. 4 3 1 / 2. 4 4 2 / 3. 3 3 1 yes 4. 4 3 0(chip in)/ 5. 5 6 2 yes 6. 4 5 2 / 7. 3 3 1 / 8. 4 5 2 yes 9. 5 6 1 yes Totals 36 38 12 But my putting is usually very good I will keep track of everything next time I play and put up that information. Thanks for all the input, and yah sorry I understand I can't get help if I don't know where I need it.
  15. For me it has been video cameras with alot of frames per second. Slow motion has helped me fix my swing more than anything else. I also think the big 460cc drivers have helped everybody's game(way more forgiving).
  16. Well I play with a 60 degree Tom Watson, and I love it. This club is very forgiving, which is always good of course. I would say if you get a good deal go for it. You will like them I'm sure.
  17. Well it's just like the title says, i'm stuck. Every once in a while I will shoot a 75, but not as often as I would like. I started working at a golf course here, and I hit balls everyday(at least 300-500) on the range. My ball striking is awesome now, and on the range people tell me I am doing alot better. For whatever reason when I get out on the course I just don't put the scores up like I think I should. With as good as I am hitting on the range why can't I keep that going on the course? Has anyone else had this problem, and how long does it take to get past it?
  18. Well I just got a job at a golf course here and i get to play for free and free range balls. Lots of free range balls haha. I have hit a couple hundred balls everyday for the past week or so, and my consistency is way better. I feel so much more confident when I pull my 7 cause I know what my regular shot with a little fade is right around 180, and now i can shape the ball play a little draw maybe put it closer to 190. My irons have really improved the most, and I feel really good hitting my shots. So I guess just hit up the range as much as possible.
  19. My left wrists hurts pretty much all the time now. It has been like this for probably 2 months straight. Not like real bad, and after warming up the pain pretty much dissapears. I can't really lift anything over like 10 pounds with it though. I don't want to go to the doctor because I'm 90% sure he is going to say just rest it for a few weeks. I have rested it for about a week and a half and it isn't getting any better. Psshh not playing golf for me in that long is like torture. I know the best thing is to go to the doctor and get an x-ray just to make sure, but I don't think it is anything that major
  20. Okay if it helps according to one of those little radars that you set on the ground my swing speed before I changed my swing to this which isn't a really big change is anywhere from 105-110. If I'm on a par 5 that I'm trying to reach in 2 I will open up a little more, and the ball goes farther, so I must be getting more swing speed. In this video I was just focusing on technique, not getting any power. I don't like to hit balls unless I'm comfortable with my swing. So with this swing speed should an 8.5 driver mid kick be going really high up or is my swing the problem. And if it is how do i keep my spine back to keep the ball lower
  21. I think I understand, but I hit the ball super high as it is for whatever reason(my club is a ben hogan 8.5 mid kick, maybe need high kick), so would this make me lose distance because the ball will go even higher. I would try it, but I messed up my wrist snowboarding, and I'm trying to wait till after christmas to go back out and play
  22. Well I changed my swing yet again, and here I am again asking for comments and suggestions.
  23. I'm right in line with you buddy. I tell myself those exact words. I usually don't tell myself that until after I F#CK up the first shot...I save them for the fixxer up shot.
  24. I know you want advice from the low handicappers, but I think I can explain the drop at the top for you. People have told me to drop my hands right before I start the downswing to keep from hitting a fade. Works for some people but not for me maybe not for you either. What works for me is when I'm on the range practicing I go back in my backswing and pause for like a two or three second count. This makes me focus on a smooth transition from the backswing to the downswing. Sometimes on the course I will hold a little at the top just because it makes me more comfortable hitting solid. Hope this helps
  25. I think something is wrong with your link...for everybody else just click the black screen a few times haha. But it works eventually. Your swing looks really good. I can see why your handicap is so low. And when you say more consistent day to day, are you hitting a little fat, a little fade, draw...what do you do that throws you off?
