  1. Maybe all his overthinking is actually more beneficial to him then the actual data in that it offers a distraction from the emotional side of the game. The more he can focus on the air density the less time he has to think things like Im down by 1 with 3 holes left and I cant hit a fairway and Taco Bell for breakfast and white pants were not a good mix on the final day😕
  2. People are bombing JB for plumb bobbing his putts. As bad as Justin putted maybe he should have been doing that?
  3. I looked into the shot Tracer app for Android. It reads that it is still in development. It still costs 5.49 Does anybody on here use it if so is it worth getting? 5.49 isn't much but I don't want to waste my time if it isn't any good. What are other options?
  4. No way I could buy a putter online without trying it out first. Maybe go to a local golf shop and try out some putters to find one you like. They might have used ones at the shop you might like. If you find one you like then you can look for used or a good deal online. Is your current putter face balanced or toe hang? It may be the opposite of what you need therefore it doesnt feel right to you.
  5. I'm not sure if I'm left or right eye dominate. I can still see the ball.. Only out of my left eye.
  6. I've been Playing Golf for: 12 years My current handicap index or average score is: 12 My typical ball flight is: Pull or Slice with the driver. Cant hit a 3 wood off the deck at all. The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: All bad shots. Trying to get my swing on plane and not come over the top. Videos: Sorry about the terrible video location. Its 22 degrees here right now the ranges are closed. I have been working on my early extension and over the top move I have had for 12 years. I also tend to get flat with my shoulder plane in the back swing. I feel like my right hip goes to far back at the top of my back swing but not sure it just looks off. My goal is to get a good swing that is on plane. Thanks for any tips or advice.
  7. Thanks Adam C.! Im working on my entire swing and plan on putting a video up on the swing video thread if you and the others would like to see what what Im doing wrong and maybe give some tips.
  8. Thanks guys for the replies. 😎 I will start trying to hit up more and if I can find a cheap used SLDR head in 9.5 degree I might go ahead and get it . I can always resale it for minimal loss.
  9. Somebody should have stepped up (sponsors) and paid this caddie just to save Matt's reputation. No the caddie doesn't deserve more money but sometimes hush money is well spent. Hindsight ....Pay the caddie and milk the story for all the positive media attention you can get. In the future everything is wrote out in a contract with caddies. Matt would have had to pay his reg caddie 130,000.00 Instead it would have been 50,000.00 for the sub caddie. (extortion fee) Hes still 80,000.00 better with the sub caddie instead of his reg caddie and maintains his great guy image.
  10. It was a "True Golf simulator". This is from the driving range option of the machine.
  11. It didnt have an AoA listed.
  12. Do you mean hit up on the ball more? Im to steep?
  13. I drove an hour and 40 minutes to hit on a launch monitor on Sat. Just throwing that in there so you know I dont have easy access to a club fitter or launch monitor. My driver im using is an SLDR 12 degree adjusted to 10 degrees with a reg flex 57 gram shaft. My numbers on the monitor were 98 swing speed 18 degree launch 3750 backspin 143 ball speed Carry was 234 There were other numbers but I dont know what they meant. My question is would it benefit me to lower my backspin and launch angle ? If so is lowering the loft of my driver the best way to do this? Thanks!

  15. There is nothing to compress the ball against if its teed up and you hit down on it. You will drive it straight into the ground or leave sky marks on the top of your driver. You will deloft the driver to about 5 degrees too.
  16. I want to get better but I do not have the time to do what it takes to get better right now. I usually play once a week though. It consists of working all week and getting up my first day off and meeting my buds at the number one tee box. No practice.First few holes are spent figuring out my swing. I try not to have any expectations of how I will play. I can shoot anywhere from low 80s to upper 90s.
  17. When playing with other people just remember nobody cares about your game. They have their own demons to worry about. Keep up the pace of play and use proper etiquette, thats all anybody really cares about. If you are still nervous tell them your handicap at the beginning of the round and they will expect you to screw some shots up.
  18. Look your lines over from front to back but really look it over from the side and you will get a better idea of how far the ball is from the hole. I read an article a long time ago called "The Quiet Eye" thats pretty good. It might help . http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m.../ai_112104116/
  19. Charles was on PTI the other day and they asked him about his swing and he didnt talk like it was fixed. I would think the filming is all done for the show..??
  20. Wtg to those who quit! After 15 years of chewing skoal I quit 3 months ago by just cutting back for a couple weeks then stopping cold turkey. I had tried the gum and some generic Chantrix a year ago but they didnt work for me. I tell ya. 3 months later and I am just now feeling normal. I put on about 15 pounds also. Congrats again to those quitters.
  21. I also dont think Seregio putts well enough to pull out a win at Augusta. Phil didnt look like he could win anywhere last week. He has plenty of time this week to be ready so I think he will be alright.
  22. Im banking on Ogilvy. His short game is unreal. Im looking forward to some great golf.
  23. Theres golf in hell? Yes ! I have something to look forward to.
  24. I dont think you were wrong. Its not your job to look for that guys ball all day. Yeah , a couple times but if he keeps spraying off the tee maybe he should have made a different club selection instead of expecting everybody to look for his ball every time. Thats poor etiquette on his part. He hit three freakin balls off the tee anyway if I read that correctly. That guys a crybaby and I wouldnt sweat it. I still dont know why he was DQ'd. Thats his own fault for not finishing the hole.
  25. Pulp Fiction The outlaw Josey Wales Kingpin Meet the parents. Cinderella man.
