Also the author listed that he hit the r9 25 yards farther than his previous one, can anyone else confirm this? I'd be very interested in a 3 wood that goes as far as possible.

Actually I'm pretty sure you can change it on both. Check out this review for the TP: The author lists FCT as one of the features. http://thesandtrap.com/clubs/taylorm...ay_wood_review

Actually he did play at St. Jude, but I can't edit my post. sweet.
-
I'm pretty sure he hasn't played on the PGA tour since winning the players, no? That would make it pretty hard to contend.
-
Surprised no one has said stenson yet.

TM Burner woods Regular vs. TP
st0wgolf08 replied to danieldsuh's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Way to contradict? You say its a way better shaft, but then to buy a normal and reshaft. That would cost much more then getting a TP in the first place. -

Actually I believe it is higher center of gravity, because most "tour" players would want something lower launching. -

If you draw the ball, probably but if you play a fade I would stay away from the TP as those will just encourage your fade. -
Irons with lower ball flights...
st0wgolf08 replied to onthehunt526's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I would think getting him the right shafts for those r7s would help. But also something like a cobra pro CB, or an uber stiff shaft like rifle 7.0 I hit those about the same distance as my stock stiffs on my irons just those were about half the height. -
Yes, you'll also find as you grow taller, you'll be able to get more leverage in your swing and hit it farther, or course you will also be stronger so that will help. Your distance is great, so just work on keeping it in the fairway and you will be golden. There is a 13 year old at my home course that shoots like 70-71 average and hits his driver around 220.

Yeah, I think Jordan's real handicap is closer to 10, but he still wiped the floor with the supposed 3.5 guy.
-
I don't know if youd called me a low handicapper, I just played some good rounds and it brought me from 5.4 to 4.1, anyway, the biggest thing I found out was play to your shot shape. Sometimes before on the course I'd hit too big of a draw so I'd try to correct it that day while playing, and the results wouldn't be too pretty. I was hooking the ball a couple days ago so I just played it, and still shot 73, which isn't bad. My advice is don't try to fix things on the course, during a round. I was hooking the ball the hole was 159 so I just took out a 9 iron and aimed for the right side of the green and swung and played the hook for the day and my shot ended up 6 feet from the hole. You just have to pay attention to what your doing that day, and then stick to it.
-
Did the 3 handicap like completely choke? He was a 3 and jordan and ben were close to that, and they beat him by a good margin. I just don't see how a guy shoots 101 with a 3 handicap unless it's the worst day of his life. I've played under large ammounts of pressure on brutal courses and it hasn't affected me that much.
-
Are you allowed to hit it with the side of the putter? I heard someone was penalized for doing that a little bit ago.
-
Of course the rich should, I mean their the people that actually worked and managed their money right, so they rightfully deserve to pay for everything. What a joke, I completely agree with you, I'm all in favor for a flat rate tax.
-
Yes, but it will be the "rich" paying for the "poor" so that the "poor" can have health insurance. What are the poor doing for the rich again? If you want health insurance and your poor, work your butt off and move up the ranks and buy health care or get a job with health care.

Compare lebron's supporting class to Kobe's. Pretty big difference here. Kobe has 3 very good big man, whereas lebron has 0, as Z is afraid to dunk the ball even though he is 7 3. Lebron is a better overall player, i don't know about the person that said kobe was a better defender but what? Lebron is a beast, have you seen him swat the ball? He is a much better defender than kobe. Kobe is just a better shooter and scorer, but your comparing two different types of players. Lebron is a much more paint-oriented player than Kobe, so why would he have as good of a jump-shot as Kobe? Overall, I still think Lebron is better now, especially as he is like 6-7 years younger than Kobe.

callaway hot bite balls?
st0wgolf08 replied to mazza78's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
Hm, from what I've heard they aren't too durable, so i don't think it's really a problem with your swing, just good solid contact. -
I think at first he was talking about the course he was a member last year, the goat pasture as it was deemed. The second with the course being in great shape is his current course, he said he really likes it there, just not the people from what I understand.
-
Sure, it would be nice to have it and find a way to pay for it logically, but come on, if this ever happens, you know who is paying for it..
-
Yes, but also think of where your money goes when you buy a nissan, even if it is made in the United States. I think labor is roughly 1/4- 1/3 of the total cost of the car, so if 100 percent of Nissan's labor is done here 1/3 of that money for your new car goes to America, while 2/3s goes overseas. People point out that GM uses overseas labor, which I don't deny. However, they don't use all foreign labor, as there are sheer towns in states that nearly everyone works for GM. Anyway so even if GM has everyone working overseas for them, 1/3 of the money goes overseas, and 2/3 goes to America. Gm sounds like the better bet for America, with a larger sum of money going to America. I do agree with you completely though, from what I understand, Gm's bankruptcy lets them cancel things with the Union, which would greatly cut Gm's costs, but yet at the same time, I hate to see a man or woman who has worked for 20 years for a company, lose their health care or some other kind of benefit. People just need to realize how much Gm, Chrysler and Ford mean to this country.
-
What did the owner say? If they were drunk, the course needs to limit their drinking if they are going to play the course and affect the rounds of others. If they are just being ignorant, they need to be spoken to.
-
Sure it sounds perfect, but where is all this money coming from? Obviously obama would tax the upper income ranges to offset the cost of this, yet why should they pay? They already have have health care, so why should they pay for people in poverty to have health care, when the upper income already pays like 60 percent of America's taxes.
