  1. i really liked the burner when i was trying out drivers. i dont know enough about the weighting systems to fool around with those so i would go with the burner.
  2. i would like to add a new putter. my dunlop perfect line putter that my friend gave me just isnt cutting it. looking into the cleveland classic 1 putter or maybe a Yes! Tracy. summer and spring is usually when i throw money at golf stuff, fall and winter is when i go crazy with guitars and guitar accessories.
  3. thats a decent compliment for a rookie quarterback because that means he's doing everything that all the other pro qb's are doing. i'll take that on sunday.
  4. yikes. i could never justify that. golf is growing in japan a lot like baseball has been booming over there
  5. my cleveland hi bore xl has a higher pitch than what i was used to with my old maxfli driver. i love it though.
  6. +1 for the 52* gap/approach wedge
  7. yeah my 2k larrivee d-60 guitar kinda makes my golf clubs seem kinda cheap
  8. tiger 09 is pretty awesome, especially online. i dont like that they took off the luck attribute though.
  9. there is a used Yes! Tracy I putter up here that i have to putt with everytime i go into the golf store. Its used and at a good price, i may go snatch it monday. Congrats on the putter!
  10. i like the chart all except for the part that tells you how much you have to improve.....it hurts my feelings too much! increasing GIR from 3 to 8 (267% increase) increasing Iron Accuracy from 20 to 53% (265% increase) thanks for the reference!
  11. sweet, if they are in anyway comparable to the VP models they should be nice putters.
  12. Lincoln Brewster-This Love awesome guitarist
  13. lack of confidence around the green is a stroke killer. i could never get my SW to do like i wanted it to around the green so i got the 60* and i can stick them close usually. i encounter more need for shot making around the green than with a hybrid
  14. i can never get the ball to stay low enough with the hybrids. maybe i need to back it up in my stance a little more???
  15. i found myself wanting to hit that shot my last round but couldnt because i had a hybrid. had to punch my 5 iron and hope for a good roll, wound up paring the hole but that is a nice shot to pull out in those scenarios
  16. gotta feel bad for wakefield........didnt have a very good game at all. Go TB
  17. this guy just has it in his head that he doesnt want to play football anymore. getting in a fight with your own bodyguard is pretty out there
  18. good advice, arent you required to carry a SW?
  19. thanks for the resource recommendation, i'll probably try to pick one of those up tomorrow!
  20. i would say for handicappers such as ourselves that a 60* is a good choice of club. i would at least get one to try out and see if it suits your game. a 60* will help you get that little extra spin around the greens that you will not get with a sw. i personally use my 64* around the greens on most shots though, it checks up rather nicely
  21. PW is usually 45-48* GW is usually 52* or so depending on your sw and pw loft SW is usually 56* LW is usually 60* HLW is usually 64* (my favorite) i believe AW and GW are used interchangeably i could be wrong though we just use * for degrees on here hope this helps!
  22. yep, i'm conditioning right now with tiger 09 as a matter of fact. i do a lot of stretching just for overall health but you could pick up some that are golf specific i work out my core muscles and back muscles a lot since this is where power is transferred from the hips, legs, arms, and shoulders to the club think about what muscles get sore if you havent played in a while then go out and walk 18, try to keep those muscles up to par **remember to work on the rotator cuff (supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, and subscapularis) as there are numerous sports related injuries from lack of support in the rotator cuff knees are also a common point of injury since there is so much torque being placed on them or you can take the john daly approach and say that if you wanted to have to work out you would play football
  23. ive never really stopped to count. id figure around 20 or so though
