  1. If you like interchangleable lenses, try the Nike Skylon. I got them on Ebay for under $30.00. Great sunglasses.
  2. Had the Adams A30S 3 and 4 hybrid could not hit them at all. Just got the Calaway Diablo #4, 24 degree and the Nickent 3DX RC #3 both are great clubs and real easy to hit, although the Calaway has a very closed face. Had I bought the Nickent first I would have gone back and bought another simply because of price. They are real cheap, I picked mine up on Ebay from Rockbottom for $28.00.
  3. Should use it, just too lazy.

    Golf with Bob

We should all be as lucky as Bob. Walking a golf course at 86, who's better than Bob?
  5. Played there three years ago. It was one of the nicest courses I've played. GPS's in the carts and the fairways and greens were in perfect condition. The best part was the guy we rented our house from was a member of the club so we got his discount.
  6. I don't care how much money anyone makes, but how in the world can you justify spending $345.00 for golf shoes.
  7. I have been playing Precept Laddy X, great ball and real cheap. I recently tried Srixon Soft Feel also a great ball reasonably priced.
  8. I have a 54 and a 60 oil can. Bought both used, they have both rusted. When it gets bad I use very fine steel wool to take off the excess rust. I like the worn look.
  9. I started using the marked line. I don't know if anyone else had this problem. When I lined it up kneeling behind the ball it looked good, yet when I stood over it, it looked way off.
  10. I have the OGIO Grom, great bag, lots of pockets and the dividers are nice. As far as the zipperless ball pocket, it's kept closed by an elastic band, no problem with it so far.
  11. How about a guy who not only accepts phone calls, but makes them during a round.
  12. I bought the I-3 irons used for $160.00 3-PW in great condition. I have been playing them for a year. I think there real good. I played Tommy Armour 845s for 10 years before, also a good club, but the Pings are much heavier.
  13. It's a great deal. A friend I play with bought one in Costco in Florida while he was there for the same price as you. I went on their website hoping to buy it online but they don't offer it online. I bought one on Ebay for $160.00. I think it's great although I did have a tough time getting a signal on a cloudy day this week.
  14. Quite a few things, but most of all my tempo. I was much too fast on my backswing which lead to all sorts of problems. I found by slowing down it helped my balance and ball striking, which all lead to more consistency. I also am making a real effort to hit more fairways. I am sick and tired of scrambling. Last round I was in the fairway 75% of the time simply by slowing down. It makes for a more enjoyable round.
  15. I just picked up the SG3 for $160.00 free shipping on ebay. Used it for the first time this week, it was great. I have played a lot of rounds with partners who use them so I figured I would make the investment. After reading different posts on here I decided to go with the SG3 for the batteries. On more than a few occasions I have seen friends GPS's charges run out in the middle of a round. Good luck.
  16. I'm also from NYC. Forecast calls for rain all week, I'm playing tuesday rain or shine. I have rain gear and gloves. It makes all the difference in the world. We played two weeks ago in the rain, some of us were prepared others were not. I highly recommend investing in rain gear. It make for a long miserable day if your wet and cold.
  17. Precept Laddy $20 for 2 dozen at Target. Excellent ball.
