Today I played match play against my mate giving him 7 shots and also kept a record of my score. My day started off very badly and i was 5 over after 3. I followed this with 11 straight pars which was awesome. Finished 8 over par for a net 56. Some how i managed to loose my match 1 down despite playing one of my best rounds ever.

he might have a big drive but seeing as he is a 25 handicap he either doesn't keep it straight or has a terrible short game so it show long isn't always best but its nice to have

i have played for just under 6 months but unlike you, i have had a fair amount of lessons becuase as a junior at my golf club i get them free . In those 6 months my average scorehas dropped form 115 to around 92. So i would consider myself to have improved very quickly but i have the advantage of age and having lessons.

It sounds like you should keep swinging at 100% but maybe try using your 3-wood and see if gives you more accuracy and if i doesn't take a lesson or two or practice on the range a little bit more.

anybody with a handicap under 9 is a player in m opinion. And any with a handicap under 18 is nolonger a hacker

i know for a fact that at my course they assigned it during a country wide professional 72 hole composition. They took an average of where they scored worst and assigned the hole ratings according to that. So that why hard holes for them seem easier to me and why par 3s are easy for them and hard me me

Reduce my handicap from 28 to at least 24 but hopefully somewhere around 19 Finish in the top 5 of my clubs junior championship Kill my slice once and for all No 3-putts (I averaged 3-4 a round 08) Beat my dad by 10 strokes

I wear shoes all the time because you have to at my course and they are strict with the rule and plus they keep your feet dry which can really put your swing out of shape

I havn't played the course his week due to other things going n at the weekends together with the lack of daylight, dark at 4pm I was at the range when my dad said , " Bet you can't hot his drive over 260 yards, if you do i'll pay you a tenner." so i pulled out my driving and hit my longest ever drive on the flat carried 250 and roled out to 280yrds. I was amazed and so was my dad because before that i was hitting 200 yards fades

I've been using the interlocking grip for the past year just because that is what my pro has taught me

The pro at pur course says that because we have really old range balls they only 80% of the normal distance.

I always leave the falg in when chipping from off the green because it helps me align my chip. I don't know how it does but in my mind it helps me

I suspect that i am the shortest hitter here when playing the course. On the course i hit it 220 with roll out because i don't need the distance because our course is so short less than 6000 yrds on the yellows but at the range i can crank my swing speed up to 107mph and hit 250 yrd but it flys like a banana

i find that its the indian because you can put the ball in the hole with any club but if you dont hit the ball straight it will never go in

same as every body else said, hand warmers and gloves all the way

i would go with the 19 degree because with a hybrid you get a higher ball flight. Which would mean it could could come up shortof the green from 3 iron range

I've never seen it with my own eyes but in the long drive competitons don't they crack their drivers all the time. I guess that because of their power and speed it is much more likely.

Yeah i guess i am. However most of that money is from my grandparents because they are giving away thier money instead of leaving it until they die.
