  1. The shaft is R flex in both clubs
  2. This whole summer I've noticed that my driver distance has gone down due to a way higher ball flight that carries about 210 and has no roll. This same thing happens with my 3 hybrid(Ignore the signature, I don't have a three wood). When I hit my 3 hybrid with no tee it ends up going farther than my driver with a tee. I have checked the top of both clubs and there is no evidence of skying the ball, and yet....I am. What is going on here?
  3. does anyone else see a frog with a top hat. the little crease thing with the red straps is its mouth the two engine things are the eyes and then the thing leading up to the propeller is the top hat.
  4. i would definitely play it if i got to slide down or zipline down like someone else said on here. i don't know about the money but if it was free i would play it. i have a question though. it's 220 for the round plus the 19th but what if you want to just play the 19th?
  5. i don't think that people get the "one per family idea on here".
  6. During the summer i play at least 90 holes a week and practice for about 15 hours. I do what others have said on here and hit practice shots on the course if there is no one behind me. my home course does unlimited golf for the summer($100) if you are going to try out for the high schools team.the other course near me has unlimited range balls for $40 a month(plus twilight golf) so i hit up both of these deals. the handicap is being established this year and is coming down... seeing as i've only been playing for a year.
  7. i kind of new what he was saying, but i wasn't sure(some people do lie about handicaps on here). now i got it though.
  8. wow, somebody is a tad arrogant.and i don't know if those are two separate events but i know you can't shoot the same score and end up with an odd number under or over par. anyhoo i'm done w/ this thread. we all have our different playing styles and tempos and there is no use in arguing over it. no one is going to change anyone else's mind on this topic. it's like politics. and yes the guys should have let the OP play through. i'm out.
  9. Also looking at the new Burner 3 Wood. Any thoughts?
  10. I'll try it and see if I can find a cheap one(little out of my price range as well). I like the look of it.
  11. I like my Nickent 3DX RC. Compact at address too.
  12. Nickent.... they're "The King of Hybrids" as they say. At a golf expo I hit the 5DX, 4DX, and 3DX RC hybrids and loved everyone of them. As my first hybrid the 3DX works great. The 4DX had the great feel and was very forgiving.
  13. I am in pursuit of a new 3 wood. I have been looking at Mizuno's MX-700 and a Tour Edge Exotics XCG. Any thoughts on these two or any other suggestions?
  14. i ha ve started putting little wind marks (the squigglies w/ a swirl at the end) because my nickname is breezy. just got to remember to not use this as an alignment aid(don't laugh i did it once).
  15. I just picked up a sleeve of these yesterday and already love them. I like the distance i get but they also give me some feel around the greens. Your thoughts on these bad boys?
  16. dude that sucks
  17. i would also play on the course you will be trying out on(but i would make sure it is the one you think first.)
  18. yeah because that is exactly what you said. you said you would rather not have to slow down during a round plus everyone wants to play their best golf every round so put those two together and you are saying that you play your best golf while rushing.
  19. it depends on what your tryouts are like. if you play a round then yes i would play after school(most days) but like somebody said before if you have one flaw in your game that can be improved then i would also work on that. set out a schedule of playing and going to the range until you get the flaw fixed. One other question ,is the course you are getting the membership at the same one you're trying out on.if so i would play more rounds of golf to familiarize yourself w/ the course
  20. so you think you play your best golf when you're rushing through things.
  21. i am not defending five hour rounds i am just saying that when you are in the situation that the OP was in you need to not worry about what the other guys are doing and just worry about your game. BTW to the OP, how'd the email fare w/ the club. i bet it didn't have any effect seeing as they don't care about the slow play that already happened. it might get the ranger fired because of the ball thing and his inability to move the group ahead along.
  22. you do realize that rhythm doesn't mean fast. you can get into a slower rhythm and still play well. you don't have to always be waiting for the next group at the teebox or on the fairway. just slow everything down. be patient. it's golf not a race.
  23. Uh yeah it does. Golf is a game based on patience so by saying that you want to breeze through a round you are saying that you don't like what the game was based on, therefore you are saying you are not a fan
  24. i played twice this week but those were my first two rounds. now we are supposed to get two feet of snow in the denver metro area during my spring break. on that note, cigarnut81, how much snow is durango getting?
