  1. I would look at the SV wedges when you get them new they have a differnent feel on them, but once you get used to them the ball control is excellent. I find alot of people dont like to go for the nike gear as they feel it is a poorer quality, plus you are already using the cci irons and these wedges fit in with those irons perfectly. If they are good enough for Tiger I am sure most people should like them...
  2. I would definately look at the Victory Red irons by nike, solid clubs and I am looking at the Victory Red Blades and have hit the complete range and find that they are a great range of clubs and I will have my new set next week just getting them made at the moment...
  3. Good for the game for sure, I play alot of club golf and I am tired of the punters who come along during a pratice round and ruin your game because the dont have the sence to relise there are other people on course...Due to this the course had a full review of what is happening. This was a semi-private course and on the weekends opened up for the general public with booking only. So there was a dress code inplace except for the general public tee times, which made no sence. As there was alot of debate about when the general public played effecting the Members and in particular the clubs Pennate Members the decided as from the 25th of December 2008 the course has gone Private Members Only so there wont be any general public on our course causing trouble. I only feel this strongly due to the amount Members Pay in joining fees and Yearly Green fees. It cost around $25,ooo Aus to join after being accepted into the course and $4000 Aus Per year for green fees. It just gets to me when a guy who pays $40 Aus wearing a tracksuit or boardshorts and a singlet for a round comes along and ruins my game... Anyone else get this problem??
  4. I am into golf bags really love the way a nice new staff bag looks....It is also something anyone can really see throughout the course...
  5. Hey All, I am looking at getting a new driver and the only problem is that I am being looked after by Nike Golf, I am using the 5900 Square Driver and I am not totally happy with it. I think it could have done with a deeper face so as to be a little more consistant... Any idea's you have would be great as I am going to demo some new drivers...I hit the ball quiet lone I average about 275 meters and have a solid swing so need something quiet stiff.... Thanks
  6. Water but a coke or pepsi for a sugar boost mid round!
  7. I would definatly look at getting a hybrid...There alot easier to hit as you would know and you have had some success with your current hybrid. You will find that you will find yourself using the Hybrid on a long par 3 or even a short par 4...I think that 5 woods have really been replaced by hybrids and most golfers will have a 3 hybrid in their bag now rather than a 5 wood. Get some demo clubs in both Hybrid and 5 wood models have a hit and see how you feel...That is the best way to see how you will go as ball flights will differ with these clubs. Personally Hybrid is the way but we all had different idea's.. You will see a huge diffrence between a basic and a quality hybrid! Good Luck
  8. Hey All, My home course is Royal Melbourne in Melbourne Australia rated as one of the top course's in the world. It has hosted a Presidents Cup where Tiger and Phill both loved the course. visit the webiste: www.royalmelbourne.com.au
  9. 5 mins otherwise it is gone to the gods...If you cant find it in that time you need to head to the range to work on your swing and fly the ball down the middle next time!!!
  10. How can you compare, I think if you had them both in their prime together playing right now you will find that Jack will come out ontop...He is much more conservative and golf smart with his game...
  11. I am a Manager of a Major Sporting Company in Australia. We are a Major Chain Retailer and we deal will all sports and the Major Lables and Brands in Sport. I am also trying this year to compete more with my golf and I have recently qualified for the National Amature Championships and I am hoping to play in a few of the Australian Champs next season like the Masters and Australian Open. I am lucky to work in the industry that I am in as they are more than happy to pursue my sporting goals and I am sponsored through my work and Nike Golf.
  12. Definatly around the green, I find that the only difference for me off the tee is how they tend to feel of the club face etc... You may gain a few Yrds but you need to be more consistant from 100yrds to the green. We all know that is where rounds are won and lost...
  13. Tiger, The Golden Bear, The Shark and Myself. You get one of the greats from all erra's except for myself.
  14. I have recently changed to a square head 3 wood which I love. Much more consistant and I find the ball landing exactly where I want it. I would have a look at the Nike Sumo2 3 wood. really good value and I have just changed to it and find that the square is better once you get used to it. Have a demo of the club I am sure you will like it.
