I've heard that more people die playing golf than anyother sport of game in the world. Mostly due to old out of shape guys having heart attacks, but heat stroke and dehydration claims a few as well.

There are several course here, that become extremely difficult if you miss the fairway. I'm talking about 4 feet -4 yards of rough and then Iceplant. If you go into the ice plant forget it. you may or may not find your ball, but you have to take a drop because there is no way to hit out of it. I just bring extra balls because there are several holes I really like. BVut like was said before, tell the management, so they know the issues. Complaining here won't do much good except for to blow off some steam. Good luck. I wish I had a course nearby that was not completely packed.

I'm just jealous you get free range balls.

Well good news for me. I am in perfect physical condition to be the best of the best. All I need now is a decent golf swing. Half way there.

I was thinking this the whole time I read this thread. Absolutely my answer as well. I let my buddy use my hybrid the other day, and he loved it...went and bought his own. I still hit it better than he does....hehe

Bag Boy has the cliplock system that clips each club in it own slot. This is supposed to reduce club chatter a bunch.

First off i want to thank you all for helping with this. I've got to give special props for those that included reasons behind thier picks. This helped alot. I should have asked for it. Anyway Thanks to all. I am going with Threeputt's picks, I am a fan of a few of his picks, or i should say my Granddad is. Anyway, enjoy the match, I may take all picks and track who would have won. This deffinettly a strange pool, but it has to be otherwise everyone would just say Tiger, phil, and the other top seated players, and we would have 25 way tie. I'm just glad i don't have to sift through all the entries to see who won. I think this should be enough to pick from. I'll post up later on, Thanks for all the help guys.....

This was my understanding as well. I guess watching TV can be useful afterall.

I guess we only get so many fights per day, but it'll be worth 10 minutes a day. Well I just got 3 more fights in my que, so I guess they let you fight more than 6 time a day.

I've already used up my fights for the day so you'll most likely win and get more experience

maybe it's because I already fought my 6 fights today. I am gaining mad experience and skills, but it seems everyone is whooping on me. Oh well I guess I'm all talk and no walk.

ha you beat me? that's cool, I joined under a lever 10 guy who smoked me with one punch, than i only won 2 of my next 6 fights. I think as a new guy you get smacked around alot.

last hole of the 2nd go round of a short 9 hole course. 270 yd dogleg left over a creek. I grab the hybrid 3 and set on e perfectly at the 100 yd marker. ok so a great tee shot. no a 9 iron just long of the pin that left me about 30 feet for a birdie. No I didn'r make the birdie, I left myself 12 feet short. Yeah, I am still scared of over shooting the hole. Not sure why so short, but I'm working on it. At this point i am tied with my competition. he 2 putts, and i drain a 12 foot down hill left to right for the par and take down the win. Not sure the best shot, but I have never pared that hole before. Felt prety good, cause I have never won either. usually a tie or 1-2 strokes back. so until next week I am King. I plan to continue my reign from there, but we'll see.

If you want a glove try one, the pro at my course treid a few on me, then gave me one i thought was too tight. after 50 balls at the range it was perfect. I use a FJ stay soft, xl cadet. I will say this buy a glove that fits and feels good.

I can hit my 3hi 210 on a good day, and on Saturday I had to make sure to stay under 180 on a particular hole. My hybrib is easier to hit than say my 4 iron, and goes straight more often. I just took a nice smooth laid back swing and set it down soft at 165 and got about 5 yrds of roll. I was tickled to have controlled the distance and set up for a sweet par on the hole that causes me all kinds of problems. I never hit mine before buying it, but it matched my driver so I bought it. Like you I have nothing to compare it to, so it seems good to me.

So here's the deal. I want to join a pool in my office for the Masters. It is not a cash payoput, but rather cigars. My trouble comes from the fact that I am not up to par on the tour or the players, so I am asking for a bit of help. Please do not respond, if you don't know about these guys..like me. I have never had a problem, or heard of one. I frequent 3 courses over the past 6 months, and have never payed to putt. All 3 course post fees for the chipping range, so i figure no posted fees, means no charge.

Bummer...For what it's worth. I did the same thing to my Hibore XLS, with the first ball I ever swung at. Not sure why, but I tried to kill the ball, and hit it right off the toe. So now I have this dent, but the club still works fine. It's me that doesn't work so well.
