Really??? Here masters, there masters. Sounds pretty similar to me. I've been on this level its big no matter what continent you are on. My point is they can play in EVERY USGA event but there is exclusions to play in theirs. It should be the same both ways, I would jump at the opportunity to play in an Asian event.

Ok, so this inaugural Asian amateur with the winner going to the Masters is great and all, but can US amateurs play in the Asian amateur as they can play in ours. If not why the hell should they be able to play in ours, and get two chances at the masters?

Actually the R9 and R9 TP heads are the same too. Because I was shopping for both with my rep and he told me the heads were the exact same just different upgrade options.

And my inability to read the greens and score from some compromised positions are parts of the game and how momentum and luck good or bad can swing. That's why it's the best game out there. Yeah but everyone says the i15 is cruel and unforgiving. I'm a + hcp and i still like forgiveness. Same is true for the word from Ping staff pros. The G15 said the trajectory is high. ?????

How is the trajectory compared to the G10. I have the 7.5 and noticed that the g15 only comes in 9 for the lowest.

I dont know about anyone else but I think it is CRAP that the Olympic hypothetical golf in 2016 and beyond will be played by pros and not Amateurs. It should be the top Amateurs from around the world competing. The pros have millions of $ let the Amateurs have the Olympics. It also might be a springboard for aspiring pros to get in the limelight.

What about the thin issue. I am thinking my hands arent releasing fast enough and that is why. I just ordered a set of the White/Blk Golf Pride Decades, but I dont want to waste them if its not the problem. I put myself on video and everything looks solid, on plane, and balanced.

In the off season I made a major swing change. I went from a handsy timing swing to a fundamentally sound 1 plane swing. My grip is neutral, but because of my handsy swing before I went with a double wrap midsize grip to take my hands out of it a bit. Now that my swing is different the grips dont feel right, and I am thinning alot of shots and leaving the ball right, while losing about 5-10 yds on irons and 20 yds on driver. Would it be beneficial to go back to a standard grip size? Thanks guys.

used to but going with a different wedge set up makes me hit more flighted/feel shots and I am having a much better outcome.

Ping, Mizuno, Vokey For woods, irons, wedges I am so happy with the quality and playability of my clubs. They also have such a wide range of clubs for all talent levels.

My point being. My team has won the last 2 years and we donate the 1st prize back to the program. Then usually the 2nd 3rd and so on follow suit. This did not happen this year and it really pissed me off. Those low lifes took the prizes and took off. NO thank you to the program, tournament organizers nothing.

I bought my dad the LYNX liberty putter. Its $40, comes with a Winn grip. Soft face insert, great weight/feel. Looks like a Scotty Cameron Newport at setup. I bought it at golfsmith. Best bang for your buck for sure. I've played Scotty's for 10+ years now and it is very similar, super value. Or check the Marketplace, I have a Pro Platinum Newport Mid Slant for sale.

Tee off with whatever you can hit the most SOLID consistently. Doesnt matter if it is a 5 wood. You will get better distance and control out of that than you will anything else you have. Plus when you hit it solid off the tee it will build your confidence and allow you to work on your driver, irons, etc.... Finding pure contact is your first hurdle. I had a day so bad that I started teeing off with a 6 iron just so I could feel solid contact.

This one took 6.5 hours. 15 5 person teams on a 9 hole golf course that the greens and fairways are no totally healed from offseason and aerification. We shot 61 and we played great but it's tough to make a putt on greens like that. Plus in my group were myself and another scratch player.

I just played in a Charity scramble to benefit a junior golf program. The team ahead of us couldn't hit the ball out of their shadow, never saw them hole out a putt but somehow shot 56 gross. Another team was the same way. How do these people sleep at night??? And if you are one of these people what is your DEAL???

The new groove rule coming into effect i am wondering how much updating I am going to have to do come the new year for tournament play. Does anyone know where you can check to see if your current clubs conform???

Hey as a HARDCORE cheese head I am loving the prospects of this years drafts.

IN comparison to the level of clubs, which club do you tend to "go for broke" on. Examples: Scotty Cameron rather than a run of the mill shop putter The NEW technology driver rather than the one that comes with the set. The SPIN wedges that are in golf digest rather than a walmart special.

I am currently working on getting my hips as open/pointing at target as possible at impact, if you look at swing videos of the "great" ball strikers their hips are all the way through at impact. I am SO close while still striping the ball in the process. It's nice to be able to make swing changes and not effect scoring. (RARE)
