  1. I know my specs to a T, checked them against the website, and they seem spot on. I just dont know about the feel of that driver off the face.
  2. I have repeatedly looked into going pro. Has he won every amateur event around his area. If so. Qualified for the US AM, Pub links, etc..... If he can get through that with out much difficulty......maybe. Its totally different. I played in a mini tour event and was shocked and I've been a plus handicap for years and play in MULTIPLE tournaments successfully. He's gotta have it above the shoulders.
  3. Nike Tour D? Really? How does it putt.
  4. If you can swing like that and produce the distance you are, Why are you a 25 hcp. Maybe you need to spend some tiime on the Putting and Chipping Green rather than building new Drivers "HAPPY" Find your Happy place.
  5. Ordered it w/o hitting it. Does anyone have one or have hit one? What do you think of it. The reviews were rave.
  6. TP red = Pro v1x TP black = Pro V1 Z Star = Pro V1 Z Star X = Pro V1x Just talked to the rep.
  7. I have been playing Pro v1x's and was wondering if these balls were comparable/ better than The Pro v's
  8. My question is are you going to be able to play with the Spin Milled or similar when the new rule comes into effect or are you going to have to buy conforming wedges?
  9. My good buddy plays D1 College. Switched to a G10 and put on 20 yds. My other buddy caddied for Parker Mclaughlin at the Reno Tahoe he won with the 909 and said it was magic, so I am going crazy trying to decide.
  10. I need help. My R9' s face caved in. I now have a credit towards a new driver since the 8.5 r9 head is back ordered until almost June. I am looking at the following drivers: PLease Help me choose! Ping G10 7.5 Pro Launch Red X Titleist 909 D3 8.5 Diamana X Cobra S9-1 Pro D 8.5 Matrix X If you know anything about or have hit these please help me decide on which one to get. Thanks.
  11. Yeah that is a tough one. Dicks doesn't have Nickent? Maybe go on Nickent golf website find a retailer nearest you and make a drive. Better safe than sorry. Doesnt matter how much money you save if you cant hit them once you have them.
  12. Look at the Nickent Hybrid sets. YOu can get those pretty reasonable and the quality is there.
  13. My avatar photo is my scotty that I just got back from BOS Black oxide services. I was shocked at the amazing quality of the work. I HIGHLY recommend them.
  14. A little tough for the average joe to get on! UBER Private The legends resort has 54 great holes and the money for upkeep. Used to work there.
  15. Steve Stricker
  16. I am wondering how this is done. I love the look of it and would like to know if anyone know the process. If you know any other processes I would be intersted to know: Oil can, or any other custom finishes.
  17. Wisconsin, Marquette, Kansas, and UNC Marquette, UNC in Final Marquette taking it. WISHFUL THINKING
  18. tour edge has come along way with woods but the irons still feel Clanky to me. Have you tried the Mizuno comparable. You wont be disappointed. The way mizuno's are built the feel is amazing. The set up is gorgeous all the way through the set.
  19. TOTALLY agree. Great distance and there is no better putting ball, and feel around the greens and scoring clubs. NO comparison (my opinion)
  20. Have you ever looked into GolfTec? It is a great system, multiple teachers and different packages. Top of the line technology wise. If you have one near you I would check it out.
  21. I love how Adams hybrids set up. I also have an MD Sonartec Hybrid. I have hit Titleist, callaway, nickent, nike, and none of them compare to Adams and Sonartec.
  22. Great topic. My dad took a 15 year Hiatus from the game until I picked it back up. He got cheapos. Thats how he is. So when I got the ability to buy clubs for him like he always did for me WHENEVER I needed equipment, I bought him the Adams Idea 3h 4h 5-w, and some good high bounce cleveland, callaway blade wedges. 54 58 60, and I gave him a 64 pelz x wedge. The adams Idea hybrid set is a standard game improvement set. He was an 18 hdcp before he took a break and now is down to a 14. He attributes alot of his success to the irons. I think SGI's are for people JUST starting out or have a lot of problems in their swing. If you were a competent golfer before your break I think GI's would do you fine. But get HYBRIDS I cant say that enough.
  23. Have it Love it!!! I changed the weights from the 1-1-16 to a 4-4-8. It makes the driver feel a little beefier off the face. The 1-1 weights are useless and there is nothing behind the toe and heel to get the ball movin' (my opinion) I liked it with the original weights, but the change i made was for the better.
  24. What have you found to be the best ball position for putting. Blade or Mallet. Any kind of grain or grass. Looking for a happy medium so I can stop over analyzing.
  25. I just bought a new house and am looking for a easy relatively cheap way to practice putting in the back yard. My idea was build a sandbox for the kids with 2x6 then make an mdf reinforced cover for it. Carpet it with a decent turf and cut holes. Whatta ya think? Any other ideas or projects you have tried/completed?
