  1. HELL to the NO!
  2. not sure about other places, but the ones ive been to have never been over 250
  3. very nice!
  4. nothing golf related, but DID get the one thing I asked for, money to spend on my New Years cruise!
  5. Yea I saw the one for the "new"? HammerX yesterday.....why does it seem like these infomercials were filmed decades ago? So old school just like his haircut
  6. Based on what I play and what i've seen others play there is NO RELATION between the quality of clubs and HI. The only correlation I can see is the different TYPE of irons etc., not the quality of clubs though.

    Iron Covers?

I find it funny how so many people on this board preach about how players need to uphold the gentlemanly "integrity" of this sport yet are sitting at their computers calling people "gay" for using something meant to prolong the life of their very expensive clubs. I was under the impression that only childish high school kids used that term in that way.
  8. lets not confuse people even further here, you just mentioned that the LASER grooves wore off in three days, this is already confusing people and putting a bad reputation out there, lets just make sure that people understand that it is NOT the zip grooves that wore out so fast...
  9. cant really make a judgment on that alone though, this is the internet.... and on the whole vokey v. cleveland debate that will continue on for years to come, you kinda just need to get out and demo the clubs, noone can really tell you more than you could get off the manufacturer's website through a computer.
  10. some of you guys are obviously a little too uptight to have fun on the course, but if you can do it consistently, forget what type of course you're on, you paid your money just like everyone else Go for it, have some fun, don't let tightass marshalls or anyone else ruin your round
  11. I'm pretty sure that's not the point...
  12. I'm not sure what you mean by that question..... but I am considering these wedges because of the nice, big channels and new lines etched into the face of the wedges.... i'm not sure if you're implying that these are the new "tour conforming grooves" or not, but they're not. I dont see the text bothering me, wouldnt take long to get over if the club works like it should, its just a little text...
  13. Honestly, I just stick my Iphone in the cupholder and put my whole song list on shuffle.... everything from Marvin Gaye to Dave Matthews to Gucci Mane. Sometimes I just go without the music when it feels right
  14. I took it this way.... would I rather play twice at a nicely kept course half the times I could play a shitty course.......(keep in mind that the only muni here Is complete garbage)....and when it comes to putting on the "greens" at the muni here, well i'll play half as much and get to enjoy something nicer all day man
  15. I always, always, always play worse when Im with bad players, and better when with good players
  16. ha, no, no way. that's on the days where I cant get out to play such as today, tons of rain from the hurricane in the gulf so I went to the range. just a bucket or two before a round (35-70 balls)
  17. Hey yall, I was just thinking about when i'm out on the range and my routine. I always hit about 180 balls and my method is to start out with my wedges and work my way up to driver club by club (hit it until I get a few solid, confident shots with each) and then repeat the cycle. I was wondering if everyone notices a very significant increase in distance after they have gone through the set once or twice? And what If you dont have time to hit the range before a round, what do you do to warm up?
  18. Hey guys, I was just looking at pics of the new cleveland clubs and was wondering what you all thought about the "mini-grooves" that are laser etched in the face, instead of the spin-milled faces of the vokeys and others. they look like they will provide superior spin and If any of you have hit them already, what do you think about them?
  19. where can you find these wedges for that kind of price new? i'm looking to re-up this chrismas...

    Golf Fix

the show in general can be a little scatter-brained, but the "best of" episode was GREAT! I wasnt able to record it but every single tip in that episode was SUPER useful, plus i'm a little biased, my buddy Mario works for him so I'm always hearing him talk about him...
  21. ......could be a stupid question, but....why the hell are you hitting off concrete anyway?
  22. yea, i'm *hoping* to get some lessons as a christmas gift this year, aside from that i'll try to work on some of what you guys have pinpointed for me there at the range, thanks all
  23. yea, i'm finally starting to hit the club on NEAR the same spot when i'm hitting irons, hybrids and wedges but the mechanics of my swing are obviously way far from being consistent, I.E. hitting fat and thin shots randomly... thanks for the tips you guys, one thing that i'm aware of is that i'm pretty much keeping my lower body static and i'm not quite sure of how to fix that .... any tips on exactly what i'm supposed to do with my legs etc. ? I get what it looks like to see someone else do it but i'm just not sure what i's supposed to feel like, if that makes any sense..... THANKS!
  24. yea, this is something I quickly realized after watching myself, my distance with anything other than my driver has never been a problem, so i just assumed my shaft selection (which feels right) is waaaayy too stiff for a swing as slow as mine, i'm pretty sure it's below 90, I had no idea it was this slow until today after watching this video
  25. Hey yall, I was at the range today and decided to take a video of my "swing" with my iphone using my 7-iron and another with my 5-wood and driver. Let me know what you guys see and any and all tips would be appreciated! 7-iron: 5 wood and Driver:
